Whispers After Dark

Whispers After Dark

I dragged my eyes back up to his face. He gave me a slow, sly smile, like he knew exactly what I’d just been staring at. I swallowed hard, my throat suddenly dry. “Chloe Harrington,” he said, voice low and smooth with that crisp English accent. “Welcome to the Blackwood Manor.” He didn’t step aside immediately. He let me stand there under his gaze, my pulse racing, and thighs pressing together against the sudden throb in my clit. Only then did he move, gesturing me inside with a tilt of his head.

Moonbound: The Rise Of The Alpha

Moonbound: The Rise Of The Alpha

Not broken. Not old. A door that had been sealed. Waiting. And now It had begun to open. She was not alone. A figure stood before the door. Watching her. Waiting for her. Not a shadow. Not a beast. Something else. Something ancient. Something that had been locked away. Until now. The figure spoke, its voice like a whisper through time. "You came seeking answers." The door trembled. "Now, you will regret finding them." Lyla exhaled slowly. She stepped forward.

Whispers Behind the Glass

Whispers Behind the Glass

“To a memory you’ve forgotten. One your mind is buried.” She tensed in the chair. Fingers curling. “Mila? Do you see another door?” “…yes.” “What does it look like?” “Metal. Rusted. Locked.” “Can you open it?” Her breath grew ragged. “There’s screaming behind it.” Adrien kept his voice level. “You’re safe. The door won’t harm you. You’re stronger than the memory.” Silence. Then, a whisper: “The fire.” Adrien’s heart skipped. “Tell me what you see.”

JASMINE

And I whispered, “If someone’s listening… show me the rest.” For a second, nothing happened. Then the overhead lights popped—one by one. Glass rained onto the dusty floor. And in the dark, I heard a voice. Not mine. Not human. “You were never meant to find Door #2.”

THE ALPHA MUST DIE

THE ALPHA MUST DIE

Their bodies moved in a rhythm forged by blood and battle and the ache of almost-lost love. Until the chapel door appeared. Half-collapsed. Blackened. Ancient. And vibrating with something wrong. Emilia froze. Her breath hitched. The others stopped behind her, sensing it too. Something was behind that door. Something that didn’t belong to any time or any world they understood. The bones of the Moonborn whispered. Their markings pulsed. Even the wolves quieted. She stepped forward. Hand out. Pushed. The door creaked open on rusted hinges.

Stranger at Her Door

Stranger at Her Door

Her mouth was dry. Minutes passed. Maybe more. Then it happened. The door creaked open. Just a little. Footsteps crossed the floor, slow and careful. She could feel him before she saw him. That same heavy presence, that silence that wasn’t really silent. He didn’t speak. He just stood there. Maya’s heart thundered against her ribs. She didn’t move. Didn’t ask him why. Didn’t ask how. She only whispered one thing. “Close the door behind you.”

LUNE

LUNE

The whispering seemed close but indistinct, as though someone was having a quiet conversation. Curiosity and a strange unease filled her as she slowly opened the door and stepped into the dimly lit hallway. The moonlight filtering through the large windows barely illuminated the path in front of her, casting long shadows along the walls. Lune followed the sound of the whispers, her steps slow and careful, her heart pounding with a growing sense of dread.

Eidolon Ave: The Second Feast

Eidolon Ave: The Second Feast

Arms like birch twigs in a billowing cotton t-shirt. An unmistakable sense of unknown others, yet to be seen, standing near. Fixed behind their flesh-bound book, they lingered, trapped. Their eyes staring. Their lips moving as their voices collided, their words lost. The how-what-why of their unfinished stories unheard. “Their whispers write their pages,” came the voice from the front door. “As will yours.”

Trapped Between Two Alphas

Trapped Between Two Alphas

I whisper up at the stars, hoping somebody, maybe my parents are looking down and listening. I feel my eyes sting as my tears force their way out. I rest my head in my hands and sob silently, aching pain through my chest at the prospect of this talk going badly. I jump when there is a knock at my door, and dart out of the living room, down the hallway and swing the door open sharply. I look into the eyes of the two men stood at my door, who are giving each other dirty sideways glances. I sigh and step to the side. "Come in you two." I whisper.

also the names! Its ok, id probably pay tribute as well if I were writing myself. I will say its a tad weird that I'm seeing their faces and hearing their accents, though. I usually fill in those details for myself as I read. except I think the "Original" Rebekah suits this character well. ...

Just my wondering how can you call this trap between Alpha‘s when going into book two Elijah is no longer mentioned? what I’m reading, she is with Cole and Caden doesn’t appear to be an alpha? When I first started reading it based on the title I was expecting Elijah Kol and Kat to end up together.

By Chance, By Fate

“No matter what you see, no matter what you hear, you keep your mouth shut unless you want to make this worse for yourselves.” I stepped forward, my voice low and dangerous. “Who exactly are we walking into, Charlotte?” She tilted her head, her lips curling slightly but devoid of warmth. “Someone who doesn’t like to be kept waiting.” The door creaked open before I could argue, revealing a vast room illuminated by a fire roaring in a stone hearth. Leather chairs were arranged before it, like a scene from an old crime novel, and behind them stood the unmistakable silhouette of a man.
