“This is my cousin Mike, that handsome guy in the corner is my Uncle Eddie, and this is cousin Ronald.” Giani continued listing off names of his extended family members, and I tried my best to follow, but I knew I’d never be able to keep everyone's names straight. I could only imagine Aubrey sitting at a Thanksgiving table, trying to memorize how everyone was related to Giani. “Please join us, Shelby,” one of Giani’s many uncles said. Giani grabbed me a chair and sat next to me at the end of the table. “So what is it you do, Miss Shelby?” Uncle Eddie asked me.

It was too much for her; she thought she would explode in embarrassment if she called him that. Seeing the little drama of these three kids, Heath took the initiative and squatted down to their heights. He patted Damian’s shoulder and gave him an understanding smile that just made Damian blush even more. “A-anyways!” Damian turned to his uncle, putting his hands on his hips. “We demand cousins!” ... ... ... “Eh?” Both Miriam and Heath froze. “Cousins...? What is a cousin?” Elle turned to Niamh with eyes full of curiosity.

she replied and I nearly choked on my food. I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone from Jack’s family that I know as a cousin. They never visited us. I didn’t even know that cousins were actually a real thing. “The cousins, are they the same age as mine?” I asked them. She nodded, “Well, not all. In my family, we’re just two girls; I being the eldest and then my sister. For your father, he’s also the first born and he has two younger siblings.”

Without a doubt, the cousin Lori was referring to should be Marcus. "Morning, Cousin!" Marcus greeted Sabrina with a big smile on his face. Sabrina sneered. "You have quite a lot of cousins, don't you, Marcus? First, there was Mindy and Selene, then Ruth and me, and now you have yet another cousin on the list. Aren't you happy about it?" "What's wrong, Sabbie? Are you in a bad mood?" "Aren't you happy about it?" "Of course not! I only have two cousins, one being Ruth and the other being you. We are family by blood!"

“I just suddenly thought of it.” Cordelia smiled at her. “You’re Zennie Hamerton, and he’s Yale Hamerton, and you’re both from Centrolis. I guess that you could be related.” “And you guess it right,” Zennie said softly. “Yale’s my big cousin. “He’s my second uncle’s son and the eldest grandson in the family. “Cordelia, he’s a horrible man. Don’t get acquainted with him!” Cordelia was startled but chortled right after. There was no way she would care about men other than her husband!

"Oh and talking of family, Connor. We have cousins." "We what?" Connor asked. "Mom had a brother who gave birth to our four abhorrent cousins," I said. "Soon to be three too. Max is as good as dead," Mateo added. "Cousins?" Connor said like he didn't even know what the word meant. "It's a long story..." I said to the ever more confused looking Connor.

He asked, and I laughed. “My mom has two sisters. One mated to the Demon King, and the other mated to the Dragon one... My uncles Dante and Alexander...” I paused, “And well, they reproduced, not at the speed my parents did... but yeah... I have lots of siblings and four cousins who are like siblings.” I explained, and he nodded. “And because reproduction is our thing, all my cousins who are already mated have one, two, or are expecting their first child... so the family is growing at an incredible speed.” I finished, and he chuckled.

I patted Tanya's face before turning to Naomi. "Letitia, come here. Take a look at them. Doesn't Tanya look a lot like Naomi?" Startled by my sudden action, Tanya shook in fear. She looked at Naomi in panic but dared not say anything. Letitia's eyes flitted between the two before she exclaimed exaggeratedly, "They look exactly the same! It was as if they were carved out of the same mold!" Grandma was a sharp woman. She instantly understood what I was implying. Without even flinching, she instructed Peter, "Have someone look into Naomi's cousin's family. Also, see what Naomi did before she worked as a caregiver."

We hadn't seen each other in months. After I finally pulled away from her, my mouth ran with questions. "Since when did you come back? How was UNI? Gosh, you're glowing!" We hugged again, squealing in excitement. 'Lizzy', Elizabeth Jorgensen, my cousin from my father's side, born from his younger brother, Uncle Tom. We share the same mix of ethnicity and from my father's side, it was only my father and her father who bore kids, making us practically sisters since we grew up so close. Lizzy was a lot older than me, already in college while I was still in high school.

Then, I suddenly felt Enzo's soft lips against mine. "Don't mind them, okay?" he said. "As my mom said, my uncle's family had always been quite troublesome. So, if you run into some people who act like him, just ignore them. They've always been envious of our family for being the highest-positioned." I nodded my head. "It's okay," I said, gaining some courage. "Your other relatives are nice." "Right?" he chuckled. "I'll introduce you to some of my cousins. They're a bit overwhelming, but you'll love them, I'm sure."
