I smiled warmly at the doctor, appreciating his kind intentions. "Thank you for your consideration, but I would like to be fully involved in the clinic's activities. I find great joy in helping others and being of service. Please treat me as you would any other member of the medical team." The doctor nodded, understanding the depth of my commitment. "Very well, Luna Scarlett. Your dedication is admirable, and we will be grateful for your contributions."

Katy said with a smile. "How can I help you?" asked the doctor. Seeing Katy's expectant look, he added "Katy." Katy patted herself proudly, thinking the doctor was already answering her, not knowing he was doing his best to attend to her quickly so he could rest. Katy lowered her head a bit to untie the scarf from her hair before removing the part that covered her face. When she looked up, the Doctor was so shocked with the horrible and smudge face in his present. He almost found himself laughing hard, but quickly held it back, since it was against their code conduct. But he was too speechless to form any word.

I asked him, but he remonstrated with me. "Being a doctor is really hard, and I am not really proud of everything I've done when I was a doctor. I wanted to move forward and open a new chapter in my life. Every shits happened when I was a doctor. I know that it's not in the profession, but it will always remind me that I have hurt and affected people. It's time to move forward and start a new life." He pinches my nose and acts like he wants to bite me.

“I am his doctor, and I know what to do with him now.” Tristan angrily collared the doctor and was not happy with what he said. Fearfully, Jade grabbed the young man’s arm and pulled him away. “You are a doctor, but you don’t know where to take your patient for treatment?” The doctor stared at the young man in shock and was insulted by his question. “You see, the patient is unconscious, but you are taking him to your office?” Tristan continued. “I’m a doctor, and I can sue you for what you’re doing right now. If something bad happens to my patient, you’ll be the one to blame because I’m delaying his treatment because of you!” The doctor angrily threatens the young man and scares him.

I heard he caused his patient's death, and then committed suicide for fear of being punished. I suppose it's one life for another, but pity the victim’s family! The poor lady. So young, and already widowed by her husband's death..." Tears still streaking my face, I stood up and bowed deeply to the person who spoke.

Adrian replied with a sigh. "A doctor? What's the name of this doctor?" Bran asked, interested in the story. "One mysterious Dr. C." Adrian replied, still feeling disappointed at the rejection he received. "The only thing I know about her is that she's a female. Every other detail hads been kept from the public. " Dr. C. The name sounds familiar..." Bran looked at the ceiling wondering where he'd heard the name before. "She's the doctor everyone has been raving about. The doctor who has never lost a patient." Adrian prodded.

He asked calmly. The doctor blinked quickly, his confidence collapsing slightly under the weight of that question. He attempted to recover immediately, but his voice no longer carried authority, only fear. “I understand how it sounds sir,” he replied carefully, “but medical conditions of this nature do not respond in linear patterns. What we are dealing with shifts unpredictably, and every stage requires adjustment before the next can be confirmed.” Jeffery nodded slightly. “How many years have you been repeating that sentence in different forms?” The question landed heavier than anger. The doctor stopped speaking instantly. He tried lowering his tone.

He asks Claire who was giving eye and head signals to the doctor, and cracking up. “You?”. She answers like it was was the most obvious answer in the whole world. “Alpha, with all due respect. It is refreshing to see you like this”. The doctor said, still trying to be professional and holding in his smile. “Like what?”. Dario asks, even though he knew exactly what they were talking about. Folding his arms like he was dating the doctor to repeat it. “In love”. The doctor says, picks up some tools and rushed out murmuring something along the lines of sterilization of the metal items he took with him.
