I feel the tears build behind my eyes and force them away, not wanting to break down in front of Zander of all people. “I brought everything you asked for. No one saw me take it, and they won’t smell me there either,” Zander continues, somehow sensing that I wasn’t going to speak much in this conversation. “They’re looking for you, but no one has thought to check Wolveshedge yet. They don’t think you’d stay with the humans. If you keep your head low, they won’t find you here.”

He wants his mate to be a werewolf like him, that’ll understand pack life and pack politics, have all his pups, and play house. Not a stupid fox. Not me. “Well, we foxes are a different caliber than werewolves!” I shot back in frustration. I desperately look away from his body, trying not to be swayed by him. Instead, I breathe in his scent and I feel a bit antsy. “We’re not exclusive.”

Chapter 36 Foxy’s POV I’m no longer Sam. I feel it so clearly as we walk to the table where Alpha Blair and my old friend Micki are waiting. Sam would never betray Micki by hooking up with her fiancé behind her back. Shit. What was I thinking? I didn’t know that was for sure. And, of course, the Alpha didn’t resist me either. If not, he welcomed my advances. I’m Foxy, and that will never change. I won’t dwell on the past anymore. I will continue my journey to my independence, but I need to be wise regarding what the Alpha can do for me. I need my wolves. It doesn’t matter how great Ace is; he can’t make me completely whole. I need more.

“Don’t worry, you’re safe. Just don’t make a fucking display of this.” Of course she wasn’t going to listen. Foxes were some of the loudest fucking annoying creatures sounding like howling gargles of devish gremlins and she was going to make sure everyone knew she was in there. Plus she was putting up quite the fight inside it was making it difficult to carry the damn thing.

The girl gave him a smirking look. Foxie walked away from the opponent after a few seconds. It's just in its normal dog-like form. That indicates that this one isn't quite fully prepared yet. Werewolves that can transform into humanoid forms, like Lawrence, are much more powerful and difficult to deal with.

The black fox shook its head and grinned in a human-like manner, speaking in a human voice, "You're from the Python family. Who's your shaman?" "Lord Fifth and Miss Sixth," Chad replied. "Which member of the Fox family are you?" "Lord Fifth and Miss Sixth? You're quite something, having two shamans," the black fox said, sniffing around Tenan's body in astonishment. "The younger generation calls me Third Grandpa Fox. You can call me that, too. Hmm, I smell Evergrow..." The black fox looked at Chad seriously, clearly seeking confirmation. Chad explained, "Men turn into undead beasts, women into revenants. Rebuilding the body helps achieve immortality but delays your transformation into a demon

'Awu ' the golden fox tried to retract behind the tree but the eagle didn't give him a chance as it casually flicked his wing throwing the already hurt fox ; ten steps ahead . 'Awu' the golden fox trembled in pain but its eyes were looking defiantly at the eagle. It wanted to rip the haughty eagle into pieces but curse its small body , he was too weak to take on a second rank beast if possible it would have made a contract with a human before stepping out in this mortal realm but a human worthy of him? where could he find it? The little gold fox was on the verge of breakdown when all of a sudden his amber eyes lit up with interest and he rushed towards his saviour.

“Don’t you think?” The fox lowered it’s head and ears out of fear. ‘F-Fine! Lower me down.’ It said in defeat. “If I allow you to walk, do you promise to really turn them back? If not then Custard can-” ‘Yes yes! I promise!’ I gave Custard a look and nodded at him. Custard came closer to the princes and lowered down the fox. It gave me a side glance. ‘You are the very first Tamer to ever treat a spirit this way! No manners and very rude!’ As my response, I waved it away with the back of my hand as a gesture for him to mind his own business. The fox snarled at me one last time before jumping inside of their bodies one by one until all the princes slumped on the ground as if in pain.

She trembled. Both Kristoff and Jim could smell her fear. Meanwhile, it was getting crazy back at Mitch's packhouse. “I want to double the warriors at each border,” Alpha Felix roared. The rogues had been terrorizing the pack as of lately. Something wasn't right, and Alpha Felix was angry that he lost two more of his pack members. “Mitch, as the future Alpha, your job is -” Felix paused. “Mitch, son, are you OK?” Felix rose to his feet and hurried over to where Mitch sat.
