Anna This motel is a far cry from the Ritz, but the plumbing works just fine, and after a long, hot shower, I’m feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I swap my dusty outfit for some soft pajamas and exit the bathroom. Asher’s seated at the desk, totally absorbed with his computer. Jake lounges on one of the two beds, idly flipping through the motel’s advertised “350 channels of satellite TV!” All of them, it seems, are garbage.

Darius thundered looking at the piles of ashes. "Let's give him back what he gave us" Lucifer and Lucian stood on either side of Darius. Thea, Amber, and Ophelia joined them and stood beside them looking at the ashes grimly. Max is flying above them surveying the scene in front of them. Once green land is now looking like ashes and death. Thea must have thought the same because she raised her palm and commands the earth to take the ashes in. Soon earth opened and pulled the ashes inside before closing again.

What for? " Big Brother ??? " , Anushka rushed .She can't believe her own eyes . " Anu …. It's bleeding …. !!! Do something " , Ethan blabbered . " Stop it !!! I am not dead !!! I am still alive !!! Susanna lowered her gaze slightly. "Mrs. Fulmer instructed me that if you refused to go upstairs, I should relay her exact words to you. She said, 'This is the last surprise I'll ever prepare for you. Whether you choose to see it or not is entirely up to you.'" Simon's face turned ashen. He hesitated for a moment but ultimately decided to go upstairs. Susanna followed him closely. As the elevator doors were about to close, she quietly tapped her phone and sent out an invitation.

Just then, a small head peeked through the suffocating smoke. “Madam, do you need any help?” someone asked timidly. I forced my eyes open and saw a young boy who was about the same age as my son. He was covered in ash and dirt, but his eyes shone brightly through the smoke. He was so small in size, yet he managed to muster the strength to help me up. Then, together, we slowly made our way outside. The path to the outside was incredibly challenging, and I felt like giving up several times.

Back home, I gathered every luxury item he'd ever given me over the past seven years. One by one, I packed them into cardboard boxes. Then I shipped them all to a luxury resale boutique. Love, I could live without. But not money. I would use this money to help people who truly needed it. As I watched the packages being loaded onto the courier truck, I finally turned away. And then, a voice cut through the silence behind me. "All these years, and you're still so useless. You couldn't even save your mother, and now your husband doesn't even respect you."

“They’re not real. They can’t be. Vampires and werewolves and witches, that’s a huge stretch, but fine, okay, maybe, but dragons?” My pulse raced. My hands trembled. The words hit like a punch in the gut. I took a step back. Then another. “You’ve made a mistake,” I said. “I’m just a girl. Just Nora Carver. An unwanted orphan with a bad attitude and a glitchy brain. I don’t have power. I don’t have a legacy. I barely even have a past.” Ashleigh’s hair turned a pale gold as she said, “But now you have a future.”
