Upper Moon 2 Novels & Stories

Elena hated herself for how effortlessly her body melted backward into Marcus’s enveloping warmth. Marcus led her up to the raised platform and waited for her to take her place in the intricately carved wooden chair beside his throne. Once she sat, he remained standing, a towering conqueror looking out over his subjects. "Tonight, we celebrate our victory at the northern border!" Marcus’s deep voice boomed. The crowd cheered on instinct, though the underlying tension in the room remained thick. "But the Moon Goddess has also blessed us with an unexpected change in destiny. The Lunar Ascension is officially delayed. The moon has chosen my true mate—the new Luna of Silver Ridge."

Jasper POV: My hands flipped through page after page of the documents in my office. Bank statements, hospital checklists, item checklists, warrior statuses. I growled in frustration as I buried my nose in these papers. The added task of omega tasking and party planning has also fallen to me since my Luna was in the hospital delivering her twins. I couldn't wait to see them, or smell them, so I would know exactly who to make an example of to the pack.

Julian pressed his thumb to the glass again this time the blue light moved from the machine into his skin he felt a shock move up his arm for a second he saw what Maya saw he saw the world network he saw the moon base he saw billions of souls waiting to be free. The computer voice said "Access Granted, uploading control." The silver ship above them suddenly changed its position it pointed its nose toward the moon a massive beam of energy shot out from the ship it hit the white light in the sky. The two powers crashed together a massive ring of fire expanded across the clouds the heat stopped rising the white light began to fade it was replaced by the dusty orange sky of the real world. The Silver Moon Pack's mansion stood tall and imposing as Alpha Jake and Mara arrived. The grandeur of the building was undeniable, and its walls seemed to hold countless stories and secrets within. As they entered the mansion, Alpha Jake led Mara through the spacious hallways to a comfortable guest room. The room was tastefully decorated, with deep blue and silver accents that reflected the pack's emblem. A large, plush bed dominated the center of the room, adorned with soft, moon-themed cushions and throws. Moonlight filtered through the curtains, casting a gentle, ethereal glow inside.

But the words cut. “Let it be recorded that the Alpha Moon has gone beyond the call of blood and bond. She has merged the Spirit Flame with the Lunar Core. Should she fall, may the tether call her soul back to its rightful vessel, no matter how many lifetimes it takes.” Beneath the statement was a smear of blood. Her blood. Her signature. And beneath that, a single line of prophecy: “When the moon is fractured and the red eye returns, she will rise again, unfinished, unyielding, unforgiven.”

If we had to travel on foot, we would have taken forever to reach the Blood Moon Pack, situated thousands of miles away. As it stands, however, Atlas has dark magic at his disposal, which he puts to good use, creating another one of those levitating platforms, just like the one Charles used to save my life. Unencumbered by the pull of gravity, we zoom over the treetops, scouting for any telltale signs of either werewolves or werebears. He’s standing behind me with his arms wrapped protectively around me, and despite the height and speed.

~STORM As I sit here under the soft glow of the moon, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. The moon goddess has truly blessed me in ways I never thought possible. I look around at my beautiful family, and my heart swells with joy. My twins, Selene and Kingdom, are the light of my life. Their laughter fills our home with warmth, and their love is a constant reassurance of how lucky I am.

My father pleads, casting me one last look. After that, he exits the mansion with Lester. Logan appears back at my side, looking between me and Ryat. “What's going to happen now?” He stares questioningly at Ryat. The older man looks outside at the darkening sky, then back at me. “The first two moons are out.” Logan follows his trail, looking at the sky adorned with two grandiose moons. “What does it say?” He looks back at Ryat. “We don't have much time, alpha.”

Her hand then pressed to his shoulders, eyes stern as she told him, “Don’t move.” He nodded. “Yes?” She turned back towards the door, “What is it?” “It’s a message from the Queen.” The woman responded. Groaning, Denise glanced back at Justin before reluctantly moving towards the door, pulling it open only slightly. The face of one of the middle-aged maids greeted her behind the door. She bowed. “The Queen has asked me to remind you that the fullmoon will be in two days. Within that time, she’s asking that you keep your wolf under control by having her stay with Alpha Kain. A suitable room will be prepared for you. Following that night, there will also be an urgent meeting with the Elders. Yo

She needed to be kept under control, if she shifted into that wolf then it would be even more difficult to keep my secret. All this because of her pathetic excuse of a mother. If she had not given birth then I would not have wasted so much of my time and energy on keeping quiet. The moon goddess had blessed me with my son, I did not need a daughter out of wedlock. Especially with someone who was just the pack hoare. The day she died was certainly a good day for me. My beautiful Luna would never know about my affair with the hoare. Elora was a mistake but I did not believe in killing pups in my pack. Of course being known as an unmated hoare, nobody questioned who her father was because nobod
