I tried pushing my way through her, “Nirv, let me go.” She held me back, her voice breaking as she spoke. “For your own sake, go back upstairs.” Her mum was standing before the TV, frozen, and this hinted to me that something was happening. “No, Nirv,” I argued and forced my way out of her grip and rushed to the TV, only to see the most gruesome news flashing. “No,” I shook my head, withdrawing. “This can’t be true” Nirvana rushed to me and held me. “Take heart, Balqis. The goddess knows the best.”

It couldn't be what she thought it was. “Open it, I promised you I would make it right, didn't I? ” Darria said, moving closer to Isadora. With shaking hands and her thumping heart, she reached for the sack, praying that she was wrong, even if the eutychus’ scent only grew stronger. When she finally opened the sack, her world tilted on its axis. Grief and nausea warred within her at what she saw inside. Eutychus, was dead? It seemed impossible, yet his lifeless eyes staring into nothing, painted a convincing picture. Isadora lost it and ran to the bathroom, emptying her already empty stomach.

Then the man shook his head and walked again after confirming that the road we were on was safe. We finally reached the end of the forest, and saw a fairly high wall with wires I believed was electrified wire in front of us. I then looked at Yusuf, is this the way out? “We will only give up our lives if we climb the wall, Yusuf. Are you sure you want to do this?”
