Katie's POV I immediately ran away the moment Vlad said yes. I know sooner or later he'll change his mind. That is why I did not hesitate, even for a moment, and scurried to find something to eat and drink. I was extremely thirsty the whole time. Kath jumped up and down when we heard something like water running. A stream! We were amazed by the sight. I always thought the vampire domain was gloomy and eerie; maybe it is just a make-believe. Perhaps that was just me watching too many movies. I ran to the stream and happily drank the water, as it was so fresh. I also wolfed out and leaped so that I could wash away some dirt in me. I stepped back from him, shaking my head, “Aiday,” Dad muttered, I looked at him, “It has to be a daughter of an Alpha and the Prince of the Vampires.” Jackson finished. I felt like I had just been punched in the gut. I was racking my brain, thinking about all of the packs, and not one of the Alpha’s had daughters, not one except...me…

Well, putting away all of that aside, Natasha had hit the shower and put on a fresh pair of blue jeans with a pink top and a white sweater before getting into white sneakers. She let her blond hair rest above her shoulders as she grabbed a bag and put something in a sort of cage right next to her closet. "Come on out, V," she started after setting down what she had put at the base of the cage. A moment later, something slithered out from a dark corner of the cage. A snake;a green viper to be exact. Taika had given her the snake when she and her mother had gone on a visit to Hawaii, where she had learnt was her birth place.

It says vampires tend to commit crimes in dark places and out of sight. Thinking that Uri's heart couldn't hold back and beat faster than usual. But for now, curiosity overwhelmed his fear. Uri took a deep breath, intending to walk to that alley to observe, but suddenly from that, a black cat came out, looking at him quietly groaning. "Meowwww...." It turned out to be a cat! Uri breathed a sigh of relief, he was thinking too much. There are no vampires here! Uri busts to laugh because of his thoughts. He sat down and stroked the little cat: "Kitty, go home, don't run around like that."

She could manage her blood lust by feeding off wild animals. The more we talked, the more I was falling in love. She told me her name was Catherine. She had a rough upbringing being what she was. She had to hide her vamp side since she grew up in her mother’s pack. We spent the next four days just sitting and talking. I would bring her food and help her wash up. It wasn’t long after she regained her strength that our little village was attacked and we had to flee.

“W-What? H-How …” Stumbling over my words, I couldn’t get a chance to complete my query. The Bastard Prince’s high-pitched squeal interrupted me. “How dare you, Shyla? Have you lost your mind? How can you order a vampire to bite me? We love each other!” “Oh, really?” Ignoring the list of that bastard’s queries, Kitten responded to him with a query of her own. “Do you think lovers should lie with each other, such as acting innocently after murdering her dad?”

"Scarlett, you really thought I liked some skinny, broke loser like you? Truth is, Vicky and I have been together for a while. "I planned to trick you into raising strong pets so we could toss you to the zombies and have nine guardians ourselves. "But you… you were stupid enough to cling to those dead cats." Vicky giggled, swaying Dominic's arm. "Honey, why bother? Now, we've got Tibetan mastiffs and a lion. Who cares if she dies? Might as well let our little ones have a snack now." Her words made me freeze. Was I going to be eaten by the mastiffs even before the zombies arrived? Their teeth looked terrifyingly sharp.

He knew how she thought he might have done that. "Please." Kitty cut him off with just one word. Erebus didn't argue this time: "Okay. What's on Maple Avenue?" Maybe she would feel better and more likely to talk to him on her own turf? But she felt safe there after just one day? "An old friend." Kitty said. She didn't know what to make of all the shocking and overwhelming mixed truth she had been thrown at today. But if the witch's words weren't enough, the fact that Perses, a living werewolf, was still looking to kill her was a good enough reason for her to consider if there WAS something special about her.
