That show never quite landed for me, honestly, and the casting felt a little off-book in some key ways. Sisi Stringer played Rose Hathaway, and I guess she brought the physicality, but I was hoping for more of that classic Rose snark and fire. Daniela Nieves was Lissa, which was fine, but the real standout for me was Kieron Moore as Dimitri. He nailed the quiet, serious guardian vibe.
I sort of lost track of the others – André Dae Kim was Christian, J. August Richards was Victor Dashkov. It's funny, I remember the casting announcements more than the actual performances because the adaptation itself changed so much from the books that the actors felt like they were in a different project altogether. Makes it hard to judge them fairly.
