Freya just sighed in her seat. She was beginning to get annoyed with whoever the princess is because she keeps making vows she couldn’t keep and end up causing trouble everywhere. She was glad that she would be able to at least help out this time because she’s a very good swimmer so before the argument gets bigger, she volunteered to go. “I will bring the mountain lilies, I just need directions because I can’t seems to remember the place” she declared and the Alpha commanded Remy to go with her.

"Technically, you're the one trespassing on our territory." Silas raised a hand, casually silencing his friend, though the arrogant smirk on his lips never faded. "I told you what would happen if you let your pride get the better of you, Freya. You spit in my face backstage, threw my ring at me, and walked out. This is what the real world looks like when you don't have a Ravenscroft protecting you." He stepped closer, his hand reaching out to catch a strand of my wild hair. I violently snapped my head back, avoiding his touch, my eyes burning with pure hatred.

Freya's POV " What are you doing here? You want to kill me finally?" I asked him, taunting him, enjoying how haphazard his gaze seemed to be. He muttered a jabble of words and spittle, opening the cage door and dragging me out. I expected a lot of things. A slap, maybe insults. " I hate you..I hate you so much that my blood curdles just staring at you" he said, voice taunt. Those words seemed like razors in the skin of my heart.

"Well that's all I wanted to say if we have a mutual understanding I'll take my leave now have a good day Lain." He left my office and I ran my fingers through my hair. I won't let him have Freya because she belongs to me. She's mine and some vampire won't take her away from me. I will get her back tonight even if it means kidnaping her. This day is the worst. I'm so frustrated with myself for letting the vampire have her. Freya is the only woman I ever loved and now it seems that vampires can take her from me too. I can feel the tears forming in my eyes.

Realizing Freya is looking down and away, Ryder reaches out and pulls her gaze to his. Brushing his thumb across her bottom lip Ryder exposes her fangs, she looks up; her eyes have darkened with her need for blood. "You never have to be afraid to ask to feed, you forget I have the same needs and Liliana has been taking care of me and Aiden." Ryder chuckles when Freya turns her head with the motion of his hand, following his scent and the sound of blood in his veins.

My heart softened a bit but I remained silent as she stood in front of Lyssandra’s door and took a deep breath. “This is the last thing I do for you,” Freya hissed “and you better not use her blood for some voodoo or spell,” I rolled my eyes, and all my earlier sympathy vanished. “I’m Fae, not a witch. Get a move on or I’ll show you the difference?” I smiled in amusement as Freya took a small fearful step away from me and knocked on the door. “Lyss? Lyssie?” She called out. The door unlocked almost immediately and Lyssandra stepped back with a smile.

Her mind whirled as she tried to process the next action to take. “Darling, no one is going to stop me.” Looking into his eyes with hate and bitterness, “I’ll kill you myself. It’s not a threat, but a promise.” “I like them feisty.” Freya slumped to the floor, and Ares scooped her limp body into his arms and carried her away. * * * Two weeks later… Freya’s life has changed. From Ariel once again turning her into her slave to Ares always bothering her and the fact that she has been getting frequently sick which was unusual for a werewolf. They hardly got sick and even if they did, their systems would always rapidly heal.

Xavier’s next words pulled her back into reality. Xavier’s smile faded. “Which is why we need yours. You’ll give us more. Or we’ll take the ones you’ve already made.” Freya went still. She gritted her teeth and clenched her fists in anger. Her eyes flashed red—vampiric, dangerous. “I will kill you,” she said. They looked at each other with an evil smirk plastered on their face. For a moment, their smile flattered. They didn’t know about her vampire abilities, but now they can clearly see, she nurtured her vampiric side much more in the past few months.

She asked, very curious about what the vampire must have thought. Freya smiled widely, then stepped closer to Maya, before whispering into her ears. "Do you think it will work?" Maya asked, biting her lips, imagining scenarios upon scenarios on what would happen from that singular action the vampire was suggesting. "Yeah. I'm sure. I think he likes you too, or rather, feels something for you. He just needs a little push. So, should I go ahead?" Freya asked, waggling her eyebrows, excitement brewing in her veins. She couldn't wait to see the drama unfold.
