Mark charged. He swung his silver-bladed dagger through the vampire’s neck. It sliced halfway through before the vampire backhanded him into the dirt. But his blade stayed buried in his neck, sizzling with wolfsbane-laced steel. "Wolfsbane, it doesn't work on us." Vampire smirked. I attacked him with a wooden stake, piercing right through his heart. A vampire dropped on Gabriel from the branches above, biting into his shoulder. He howled and slammed backward into a tree, trying to shake him off.

Nathan then instantly flipped over the air and stands at Zitrey’s side. Slayer smirked from the unexpected hit he receives. He tardily holds his long blade katana while tapping it on his shoulder. The dull part was colored in black while the sharp one was in shiny silver, and in between, they were a dark purple in a zigzag pattern. The weapon was scary enough to make goosebumps, it seems possessed by the shadow of death. Slayer then uttered while staring intently to Nathan, “I will play with you lad. You seem fun.” he then looked at his remaining troupe, “There are still few people upstairs, so babies, kill the rest~”

"What are you talking about?" I asked Landon, my voice low but firm. I was about to turn and face him when he went in front of me himself. He towered over me, his eyes were dark and vicious looking straight into mine as if he wanted to look into my soul through them. I don't mind if he could. I don't care about anything else now. All I want is vengeance and I'm willing to do whatever it takes just to have that. "You heard me right, Eve. You have had vampire blood in you ever since you were born."

“Before those stupid wolves did that to him.” I barely had time to process her words before Violet's runes blazed to life. They slithered across her skin like living ink, spiraling down her arm and pooling into her palm. My breath caught as a blade began to form—not of metal, but pure magic. The runes twisted and coiled until a dagger extended from her hand, an elegant but deadly extension of herself. My breath hitched. She smiled. The blade pierced Dylan’s chest, slowly. I was hoping to make this quick and painless.” She yanked her wrist free from my grip with strength that no normal wolf should have. Her other hand came up, and I saw something gleaming in her palm. A dagger. Small and silver, with symbols carved into the blade that made my eyes hurt to look at. A Void-blade. Designed specifically to kill Keepers.

Another slammed into me from the side, but I dug my claws into the dirt, tossing him off with a violent shake. “Reynold, left!” Ronald barked through the mind-link. I twisted just in time, catching a blade swinging toward me. A vampire—different from the rest—had a weapon forged in some black metal that hummed with dark energy. When it scraped against my fur, pain seared through my body. I stumbled back, a growl ripping out of me. “That blade…” Robert’s voice cut into my mind, sharp and alarmed. “That’s not ordinary. Be careful.”

I didn’t even blink. My hands moved to the twin blades at my sides—obsidian-forged, curved, deadly. I’d carved the hilts with my own blood the night before I came here. I didn’t name them. They weren’t sacred. They were efficient. The beast let out a roar that shook the arena. Dust spilled from the balconies. I heard nobles flinch. Someone screamed. I ran straight toward it. No hesitation. No waiting for orders. Let the vampires see this clearly.

I became a blur of white and violet. ​I met the first wave with steel. My obsidian blades, forged in the fires of the Shadow Valley, sliced through vampire flesh like it was water. I ducked a claw swipe, spun, and took the legs off one leech. I vaulted over another, driving my blade down through its collarbone. ​It was a dance. A violent, bloody dance. ​I felt the Blackwood wolves hesitate, then join the fray. I heard Kaelen’s roar as he tore into the enemy. We were fighting on the same side. The irony almost made me laugh.

Prince Blade levitated, his fingers were long and possessed sharp black claws that were half a meter long. His fangs were visible and his eyes were bright red, unlike the other warriors whose eyes were dark red. "You sick bastard, today is your end!" Prince Blade growled, proudly flaunting his creepy fingers. "I think you're talking about yourself, young man," The king looked unbothered at the sight of his own men being killed by the overzealous vampire warriors. "Well... Why don't we let our skills do the talking?" Prince Blade suggested, looking more than ready to rip off the pesky king's mask and swipe his poisonous claws across his face.
