Andricia’s body seems to relax, and her hands find their way to his chest. I hear a humming throughout the room and find the source to be the man standing in front of our bed. I inhale and am instantly caught by the smell of roses. The distinct scent of a vampire—he isn’t human; he is a vampire on our land.
