A row of glass vials stands sentinel on a rickety shelf—each containing a unique essence: wolfsbane, moonflower, etc. But my purpose lies beyond these trinkets. I seek the “Mirror of Truth,” a fabled artifact said to reveal the soul’s darkest depths. It is wrapped in a red cloth, hidden beneath a stack of yellowed parchments. The cloth bears stains—perhaps blood, perhaps tears. I unwind it carefully, revealing the mirror’s polished surface. Its edges are jagged, as if it has been shattered and painstakingly pieced back together. As I gaze into the mirror, my reflection wavers. The room behind me blurs, replaced by a moonlit forest. The mirror does not merely reflect; it conjures memories. I

Reaching her mansion’s perimeter, every servant and guard in the mansion went into full alert mode due to the worse mood of their lady that later will explode. “GREETINGS, MY DEAREST BELOVED MIRA!” and that certain vampire always never failed to make Mira’s mood worse greeted her day or night badly. The irk voice stung Mira’s hearing that making her day really not the best one. All of her servants felt her building range and yet, the vampire grinning was totally immune to it. It was not affected at all. “Care to join me for dinner at a fancy restaurant that every human has been talking about?” Vesmon, a nomad vampire man with too much flowery vibe around him greeted Mira with enthusiasm that

Its frame was adorned with intricate carvings, and the surface shimmered like liquid silver, almost inviting them to look within. Emily approached the mirror, her reflection gazing back at her with an intensity that sent shivers down her spine. "What is this mirror, and why does it feel so unsettling?" Liam stepped forward, studying his own reflection with a mixture of curiosity and apprehension. "I believe this is no ordinary mirror. It seems to reflect more than just our physical appearance." As the pack gathered around, the mirror began to glow softly, and each member's reflection took on a life of its own. Rachel's reflection showed her laughing, carefree, and joyful, but Sarah's reflect

I watched as a light frown grew on her face while she looked back and forth in her bedroom making me smile lightly in amusement. Amaya: How can you see me? Is it a special power for vampires? The small amount of knowledge she has of vampires was kinda cute. Of course, she just learned about our existence today but still. Me: No, look outside of your window. She turned her head towards the window searching for me. It took a little time before she finally spotted me and smiled. She walked towards me and opened the window. "What are you still doing here?" She whispered. "I'm guarding you."

The waist-high full-length mirror wobbled for quite a while, capturing the reflection of Candice in its unsteady gaze. The mirror reflected her pale face, a slender neck, and clothes that used to fit well but now appeared loose on her. Candice stared at the seemingly lifeless woman in the mirror, shocked. Her pupils trembled uncontrollably, and she instinctively reached out to touch the reflection in the mirror. Was this really her? Why did she look so terrible? She didn’t feel sick, but she looked awful. Candice stood in front of the mirror for a long time, trying to understand her current appearance and the reasons behind the change.

💉Tiara p.o.v 💉 It's time for the first prey to be sacrificed. I took off my bracelet and turn to half a bat and half of my vampiress's face, and disappeared into the thin air. I got to his house and decided to play some tricks on him, I started changing the light in his sitting room to different colours. I can see how scary he was, I used my necromancy power to break his plates and anything breakable in his kitchen at least he will die today, even when I finish draining his blood I will still demolish his apartment so as not to leave any traces for investigation.

But I only ever dismissed all of those as hearsay, some old lore people told for entertainment. And yet here was I, staring right into the eyes of a vampire. “Vampire…” was all that I managed to croak out despite the jungle of thoughts that swam through my head. He reached out a hand, and I watched in horror as he did so, until his knuckles gently grazed across my cheekbone. His smile widened, “Yes, indeed I am.”

My image finally started blurring, but it’s not my family that’s reflecting back at me this time. It’s Creed, bloody and bruised. He screamed as the chains that held him rattled. The mirrors surrounding him played images of burning buildings and people running. I can hear their screams, their innocent. Just as fast as they came, the images vanished. They were replaced by a battle, but I don’t recognize anyone. The image of a black wolf is positioned above the battle in the mirror. An image of a vampire was on the mirror next to it. I can hear screams of pain and heartbreak as I watch the victims from both sides fall.

But the piece de résistance is the black, sparkly mask that sits on her face, giving her a mysterious vibe. What the hell was all of this, and why was it even necessary? They were dolling me up to prance me around their high-standing, blood-sucking council, only to turn around and turn me into a fucking toy. Sighing, I turn and find myself staring at Vance. Frowning, I turn to the mirror again and find that he isn’t reflected there, and then turn to face him once more. “Shocked?” He asks, quirking a brow. “Not really,” I admit. “It’s normal for vampires to not have reflections, yeah?”

Vlador explained before turning Triana's body to face the mirror again. Staring into the mirror, Triana felt like she was dreaming. She only saw herself in there, as if there was no one behind her. But she could feel a hand touching her back and the presence of someone standing right behind her. All this time, Triana had never come across information about vampires not being able to appear in mirrors, even though she had read many books and heard stories from the elders. But despite the surprising new fact about vampires, Triana was more shocked by the sight of her unchanged face. She still looked as beautiful as always.
