A long time ago, a story about werewolf and vampires resounded in various human stronghold. They are also afraid to go out and have activities in the forest afraid to be abducted by crazy werewolves. It was how they tell stories, depicting a certain species into that of malicious and brutal beings. Some people thought that it was exaggerated and that they didn't exist at all. You'll understand this more as you read the book! In addition, I only use the term 'werewolf' in this story but they are not the traditional lore that is 'cursed' or a 'beast'. They are more of shifters, like of lycans who can control their transformations from humans to wolves or vice versa. The different species went rogue and they started fighting amongst themselves. The werewolves and witches were at war, the vampires became predators. They used to feed on animal blood but tasting human blood for the first time rather appealed more to them. The vampires became unstoppable as more and more people were turned into vampires. As he began to fight them he knew these creatures were not human. These men were shades disguised as humans. The shades were dark spirits and creatures of the night. They could take the form of different cat and dog animals which made them dangerous, and they were enemies with the demons. Lord Davis had been working with creatures of the dark to fight other creatures of the dark without realizing.
