He scanned the three and asked, “Who killed my son? Show yourself!” This man, Tom Watterson, was Pete’s father. Unexpectedly, although Pete was the chief of the CDC, he had a father who dabbled with the underworld. He even seemed like he was doing well in such shady business. “I did.” Alex took a step forward and admitted to it. Since Tom had lost his son, he wished that he could skin Alex alive and feed him to dogs. He yelled angrily. “Go grovel before my son and give him 300 kowtows! I won’t dismember your corpse once you do so!”

“I killed a guy once, but never a woman. You’re a cold sonofabitch.” “Shut the fuck up if I were you. Pete.” Chase drawled out. He’d had enough of the man’s irritating nasal voice. “Oh, yeah? Tough guy, are you?” Pete stood up, cracking his knuckles. A fight could be just the thing to spice up the day. He was brawny and used to fight his way out in the streets. Maybe this soft lady-killer lawyer needed to be taught a lesson. He was more than eager to oblige.

Pete thought that he had heard the name before, but he did not mind it as he extended an arm to pull Sadie over. There was a slight grimace as Sadie shifted to the side to avoid him. That made Pete’s face fall. “What’s the matter? You want this kid’s limbs to be chopped?” Pete raised his hand, and two of his underlings pinned Easton down. Sadie looked troubled. “Pete, I’m the GM of Wolfenden Corp. I’m willing to pay for the trouble. Name me your price.” Delight filled Pete’s face. This was the woman Horacio had said that they could have their way with if they ran into her.

What did Atticus do to this Pete guy? I thought Apex was just a resort. A place where rich people tossed back cocktails while they gambled their boredom away. Not... whatever this is. Not secret calls about people vanishing and men being "handled." Pete, whoever he is, apparently made the mistake of pissing off the wrong people.

make it a night to remember! I was lost in the flashback and recovering but Pete didn't skip a beat, dropping to his knees and looking up at me, nodding with a big grin, "That was hot, but let me give you a fluff...you have to finish the job." He turned his head to me and pretended to whisper a secret, "After that, somebody's probably ready to explode."

With my small circle of friends and those who cared about me, I could already guess who was calling. "Hey, you landed safely?" Gordon, my trainer, asked. He had survived a vampire attack when he was a teenager. An attack that left a scar across his face and an even deeper one on his heart that turned him into an elite vampire hunter. "Yeah, I am settling in my room" "Any news on McCain?" "She is here. I can smell it, this time, am not letting her go scot-free…" "Relax, kid, don't let anger overcome you. She will see you coming, and she won't hesitate to kill you"

It seems she found out that Marco killed her father to take over the family business, and because Hela is an heiress, having her dead would make Marco take control of the company. I was invited to the charity gala to discuss her behavior and take anything as evidence against Marco. I didn't have a date, and Myles was away. He's the same age as Myles, but the difference is that he loves to dress in women's clothing. Pete owns a big-shot salon and fashion icon in Los Angeles, and spends time with celebrities. He had a thing for Myles and tended to tease

As for 'Pete's Pet Rescue' it's the closest pet store we can get to by foot. Pete Avery the store owner opens the door for us. A motion sensory signals for the bell to go off, as we enter the store. Pete has been smoking on his break again. I can see the ashes resting in his salt and pepper-looking pirate beard. I am pretty sure he was a pirate in his past life, no one can convince me otherwise. "What pet would you like to buy today," Pete asks as his nostril flare? He isn't a nice man, which supports my animal mistreatment theory.

Daz gave him a look he must have understood and he gestured both of them toward his office.
