Veronica Lancet Books Novels & Stories

Veronica told her. Lily couldn’t resist the small smile appearing on her lips. “Well, first Veronica I’m going to check you out,” Lily started, and she nodded. “If you’re lying, I will probably kill you,” she said, intending to scare the vampire. “When I confirm that you’re with the Aequivalere, then you have yourself a little lab rat,” Lily told her, and Veronica smiled.

Morris was now on her feet and smiling at her Luna. "Yes. First round. There are three stages. She has experienced the first. I shall give you an antidote to restore her health before the second and third stages emerge." I tried so hard to be on my feet even when my feet threatened to give up. All the energy I had coursing through my veins slipped away and all I was left with now is weakness and sour state of mind. "Each stage has its antidote." Veronica grasped my left hand at my side and placed a small bottle in my palm. Her touch repulsed me and all I wanted to do was push her away but I didn't. Not even when she stepped on her toes and pressed her cold dry lips on mine.

"And who is that girl?" Seeing the Dean, Veronica didn't look ashamed; she played the victim. "Dean, I was just about to file a complaint. Lance has lost his mind. He let a nameless rogue into the ICU without any clearance!" The Dean didn't have time for her excuses. He knew Lorenzo was watching. "I am asking you one more time: Why. Aren't. You. In. There?" "The paperwork wasn't finished, and besides..." Veronica turned up her nose, her elitist attitude on full display. "A patient with such a 'common' background doesn't exactly require an expert of my caliber, does it?"

Veronica, the real one, was shaking in pure anger as she listened to what the dark witch was saying. She can’t bear to imagine that Liam had sex with this ugly fart. She just stole her identity, her very own beautiful face and body just so she could go to Bresmont and replace her. “Do you want to hear the details, my dear foolish Veronica?” The dark witch’s voice was lace with mockery. Her face was telling her how stupid she was to trust someone like her.

He spotted Caitlin, hissed, and came right for her. She scrambled down the ladder, taking them two rings of the time, but it wasn’t fast enough. He landed on top of her, and they both started falling. As she fell through the air, she braced herself for the impact. Luckily, they landed in water. As she rose, she saw she was in up to her waist in filthy, sewage water. She had barely time to think when the vampire landed beside her with a splash. With one motion, he wound back and backhanded her across the face, sending her flying several feet.

She scowled. "if he isn't Human, then What is he? A beast? A demon? A monster? All I see tied down is a normal human being, suffering, in pain, and-" Anne looked at Olivia with a hint of anger in her voice, " Enough! You know nothing. You know nothing about this world you live in , there are demons, monsters, witches, whatever you thought were fairy tales, they exist. You want to know what Lucas is? LYCAN! Lucas is a Lycan, is that enough to make you proceed with the experiment?."

She felt as if she were outside of herself, looking down, and she became more and more confused. She read. And read. And read. Finally, it hit her like a lightning bolt: this book, it was hers. Her journal. The journal of a teenage girl. A story of coming of age. Of going back in time. Of falling in love with a man named Caleb. Of having a daughter named Scarlet. Of becoming a vampire. She wondered if she were losing her mind. Was this some sort of practical joke? Some sort of fantasy she’d had as a young girl? What was it doing here? How did her grandmother have it? And why was she only drawn to open it now, at this time?

The edges of my vision start to go black. "Winter!" Alec yells. Elena lifts one hand from my neck and sends a bolt of magic backwards. There's a brutal grunt from Alec as it hits him. Now, both Damon and Alec are down. I don't know if they're okay. I don't even know if Alec is alive. Elena's second hand is about to return to my throat, but I seize the opportunity. Grabbing her shirt's collar, I yank her down and to the side. This makes her fall off balance, leaving most of her body exposed to me.

Peter sounded almost detached. “She is my mate. Nothing else has been on my mind.” I spat back upset at the insult. Veronica POV I sat in the chair with a massive old text on the desk. The book was 6 inches thick closed. I was about halfway through with no luck finding anything referencing fallen angels. Most of the books were written in German from the 1300s. I had a hard time deciphering; Theo was helping with ease. His experience with all the different languages was a talent I was overly jealous of.

Marco added before he dropped the call. I guess it was time to unbury the hatchet. Even if it has rotten in the ground, we don't have a choice. //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Dear Readers, Vampire and the Siren is now available on A****n, you can get a copy for an affordable price.
