Vowed (Book #7 in the Vampire Journals)

Vowed (Book #7 in the Vampire Journals)

Caitlin sat in her large room in Dunvegan in Castle at a writing desk, looking out the window at the sunset sky. She examined the torn page McCleod had given her, holding it up to the light. She slowly ran her fingertips along the embossed, Latin letters. They looked and felt ancient. The entire page was so beautifully and intricately designed, and she marveled at the intricate colors along the paper’s edges. Back then, she realized, books were made to be works of art in and of themselves.

Betrayed (Book #3 in the Vampire Journals)

Betrayed (Book #3 in the Vampire Journals)

But it did start to bend, and clearly, it wouldn’t hold for long. Caitlin looked at the letters and realized that it was Jonah’s door. Caitlin charged the vampires, Sera by her side, and this time, Caitlin extracted her spear and threw it ahead of her. It pierced one vampire right through the throat, and then magically returned to her. The other two vampires turned and charged. One of them leapt in the air, right for Sera, but Sera was ready, crouching down, and raising her axe. It lodged right into the vampire’s stomach.

LUCAN VALE: THE GHOST ASSASSIN

LUCAN VALE: THE GHOST ASSASSIN

Then, he looked up, his gaze sweeping past Jason and locking onto his nephew. “Charlie, what is this garbage?” Lance’s voice was low, but it cut through the room. Charlie stiffened. Lance who looked to be on his side earlier was now mad at him? “It’s proof! It’s what that parasite has been doing behind Vanessa’s back!” “Proof?” Lance let out a short, incredulous laugh. He tossed the photo back onto the table. “This isn’t proof. It’s a cheap fake.” The family stared at him, stunned. Even Seraphina, who was already defending Jason, froze with a gasp. “Lance, what are you talking about?”

CHASING MONSTERS

CHASING MONSTERS

But fear made her careless, and in her silence I saw the truth. Finally, in a broken whisper, she admitted: “It was the Lady. I… I said the Hunter girl might not be so dangerous. She, she called me stupid. Then she struck me.” My gut churned. Veronica. Like a dam that had broken Lysa revealed all. One other thing, she said, tugging at my sleeve, voice barely audible. “I heard things. About herbs, powders. Things meant to sicken, poisons. Her voice barely above a whisper. She had the ladies running errands for the apothecaries.”

MATED TO THE LYCAN KING

MATED TO THE LYCAN KING

I carefully untied the ribbon that held it closed, revealing a beautifully crafted cover with intricate patterns and symbols. As I opened the book, a gust of wind suddenly swept through the room, extinguishing the candle by my bedside. The darkness enveloped me, but I wasn't alone. Whispers echoed around me, growing louder and more urgent. I strained my ears to catch the words, desperately trying to make sense of them. "Veronica, you hold the key," the voice murmured, as if carried by the wind itself. "The truth lies within you." Intrigued and unnerved, I clutched the book tightly in my hands and began to read its faded words. The first sentence was Veronica, you hold the key. The voice was

My Personal Lycan King (Book-2)

My Personal Lycan King (Book-2)

Vanessa leaned towards Victoria in a motion of hugging her and whispered in her ears. "I am talking about Emerald, the Queen of vampires. In nome di Dio Alaric, Ordino a Emerald di svegliarsi (In the name of god Alaric, I order emerald to wake up.)" She whispered before she took out a small pouch from her back pocket and dropped it on the ground, resulting in the powder pouring over, and an exotic smell wafted through Victoria's nose, making her teeth hurt. Feeling a sudden pain shot in her body, she pushed Vanessa away from her, looking at her with confusion and anger.

This was definitely a complicated storyline, but the Author brought the Characters and storyline perfectly together and ended it beautifully. The Rollercoaster ride of everything, twist and turns of events and the surprises ... I LOVED it!... it kept me wanting to read all through the night.

This is an excellent story! It’s worth the coins! The story lines from book one to two are consistent and thought provoking. The author states English is not her first language, so please be kind as this story is worth it and you can easily figure out the occasional slip. Fabulous!

The Tempting Nun

The Tempting Nun

Veronica’s eyes opened slowly. The room was dark, lit only by faint moonlight slipping through the window. For a moment, she didn’t move. Then she heard it again. Movement. She turned her head slightly. Christiana’s bed was empty. Veronica’s heart skipped. Slowly, she lifted herself just enough to look around. The door to the dormitory was slightly open. A shadow slipped through it. Christiana. Veronica’s breath became shallow. She’s going again… Without thinking too much, Veronica quietly got out of bed.

Whisper of the stone heart

Whisper of the stone heart

He would stay the Duke and I would be the moth hero to help him turn the eyes from his disappearances. I wasn’t fond of reading but there were several books on a big bookshelf; Veronica was the complete opposite of me, a bookworm. Most were works of philosophy, mathematics, science and other topics of importance. They existed to show much of a reader Veronica was. To the outward eyes, they appeared harmless, books no one would ever be interested in. Twelve tomes of plants attracted my attention; she was like my sister Dina. I remembered how the Duke and Fredden talked to me about her; she was a villain, someone they didn’t want to associate with anymore. I thought Veronica would never care f
