Mom said as she drew Ola into a gentle hug. I walked over to the corner of the room where a little shelf was placed, I pulled out the big, black familiar book. It was my dad's most cherished belonging, his Bible. I opened to his favourite verse, walked over to my mom and handed it to her. 2 Corinthians 5:6-8: "So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord."

In the cause of the search, she messaged two suspects one of whom wasn't him at all from obscene replies and the other who still hadn't replied her mediocre 'hi'. She blocked suspect A in a fraction of a second and waited on suspect B. Not much information about him besides a scripture: John 3:16. If she wasn't wrong on her Bible studies and didn't want to disgrace a church elder and choir mistress who was none other than her mother, the scripture as she recalled, said: FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE. At least he seemed more decent than suspect A.

MARY’S POV "The spiritual man judges all things, yet he himself is judged of no man." (1 Corinthians 2:15) The air in the room was thick with the scent of cheap air freshener and disinfectant; the heat of five bodies packed into a space meant for two hung in the air. I sat at the head of the circle, my Bible open to the Book of Proverbs. My phone vibrated continuously inside my denim skirt pocket.

"We hear again the promises of God: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, God’s mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning, great is your faithfulness. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Jesus said: Come to me, all you that are weary and whose load is heavy, and I will give you rest ... for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. What can separate us from the love of Christ? Can hardship or distress? No, in all this we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

He rubbed my back in circles and clasped his other hand with mine. "We are okay Ginevra" he whispered in my ear and gave me a light peck on my cheek. "Sorry to hear about that, but yes we should also forgive them" he stated. "Today our main goal is to talk about forgiving people and not holding any grudges against them," he said and opened his bible. "Turn to the book of Ephesians chapter 4:31-32" I struggled to look in the book where he was talking about. A kind-hearted lady noticed my struggle and took the book from my hands, she quickly turned to the page for me and showed me where to read.

the pastor says. "When I asked the couple of, they had a special bible verse they would prefer for the wedding, Beckett told me he would like to use the same one used at his parents wedding over thirty years ago... The bible verse is 1 Corinthians, thirteen verses four to eight. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues

it was amazing! Every now and then friendly girls came up and said hello, and all kinds of people came up to talk to me and mom.Good times.Even after almost fifteen years, the atmosphere is still friendly. "Indeed loving people is difficult. Yet this is what the Bible commands. "For this is the message you have heard from the beginning: we should love one another" (1 John 3:11). We spend time on what we deem important. For many of us these choices are valid: time with family and friends, work, prayer, serving the poor, fighting for rights, protesting wrongs. But as the Scripture reminds us, "And if I donate all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body in order to boast but do not have

Mister handsome remarked, smiling.
