Simple Bible Verses Novels & Stories

"We continue to study what the Bible says about Jesus Christ. In Mark 11:24, Jesus says, 'Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will all be yours.' Ptr Kris read from the bible, adding, "In Luke 10:3, "Go, I am sending you out like lambs among wolves." Let's also look at verse 18,'I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.' Verse 19,'I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemies; nothing will harm you." “Verse 20 says, ‘However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your name is written in heaven.’ “Ptr Kris continues, "This is the Word of God."

Aside from that, there's no harm in trying. I took out my phone and opened the bible app that came with it, and to my amazement, Mister Handsome was correct. "Proverbs 4:25 says, 'Let your eyes be straight ahead; fix your gaze directly ahead of you.'" The bible chapters from Proverbs were exalted. I suddenly recall something, and things start to make sense to my ear. "Wait! "I thought it was a romantic way of saying sorry?" I asked. "Well. As you can see, the Bible is chock-full of surprises." Mister handsome remarked, smiling.

"With this note, I think the person knows me too well, it's not just any random person"

“There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.” Please note, dear reader that the Bible verses are from Psalm 91. While doing the laundry, Marie’s thoughts were back on the conversation made by Mrs. Grace Reyes. With the bible in hand, Grace asked her, “Are you familiar with John 3:16?” “Yeah!” “But do you understand what that verse is all about?” “It says that God loved the world that He gave Jesus Christ, His only son and we will not be in condemnation but have eternal life.”

MARY’S POV "The spiritual man judges all things, yet he himself is judged of no man." (1 Corinthians 2:15) The air in the room was thick with the scent of cheap air freshener and disinfectant; the heat of five bodies packed into a space meant for two hung in the air. I sat at the head of the circle, my Bible open to the Book of Proverbs. My phone vibrated continuously inside my denim skirt pocket.

Bible reading From 1 Corinthians 13:4-7: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

'I-I didn't pray to God for this! Noticing the faint grimace on Julien's face and realizing that if she didn't control the situation well, Harrison might start suspecting something, Helena immediately adopted a serious tone and said, "Sir, don't be too surprised. Remember, in Matthew 7:7: 'Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.' This is the grace God gives to His believers!" She continued, "Even during the most difficult times in my life, I persisted in praying to God every day, and I used this scripture to encourage myself, reminding myself that God will never abandon me!"

she asked with a frown "Well, it doesn't matter, what is important here is, God created us in his likeness," she pointed "Okay, and your point exactly?" Mrs Brown asked with a frown "If in the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God and the word became flesh and dwell among us in the person of Jesus, why don't you believe you can also resurrect from the dead?" she questioned Mrs Brown shook her head in disbelief and sighed. Ruth couldn't help but laugh about the argument going on.

"The bible says we should go into the world and multiply, this we can see in the book of Genesis." I opened my mouth to speak, ready to debate his words when he cut me off with, "You'll have your time to speak ma'am, let me finish." Thoroughly amused, I clamped my mouth shut and waited for him to complete his point. "As we know, we're expecting one child but if we're to calculate properly, this isn't much of a multiplication." I was confused. "What does that even mean?" "The bible says that a man shall cleave to his wife and both of them shall become one, we're expecting one. God didn't say we should have ones, He said we should multiply."
