Xylia has been looking for trouble with you.” Vincent asked with concern. “Ha, there are a lot of people like her looking for trouble with me. Chapter 9 Caitlyn was standing beside her gate when Martin arrived in his car. She was wearing a black leather skirt that stopped way above her knees, a small white top that clung to her body, a black leather jacket, and a white shoe to match. Martin swallowed nothing as he stared at her. He was mesmerized by her beautiful face and body. He cleared his throat nervously, winded down, and poked his head out a little. "Get in!" He ordered her. She smiled and quickly rushed to enter the car.

This time she would take things up a notch. She called on the cold place inside her—now so much a part of her it answered before she finished thinking the command. Violet-black smoke coiled from her fingertips, silent and swift. Tendrils lashed out—soft as silk, strong as iron—and pinned Victoria to the wall, wrists above her head, ankles gently but firmly held. Victoria gasped—sharp, delighted. Her ruby eyes flared wide, pupils blown with excitement and exhilaration. She tested the bonds once—playful, teasing—then stilled, chest rising and falling faster than it ever had before.

VICTORIA'S POV "Who are you?" I asked in a soft voice, which was equally confident and respectful. I don't know where that courage of talking was coming from, but something inside me was telling me to appear strong in front of her. "As Alexander mentioned. I am Azrael the leader of the Centauri clan, my dear Victoria." I heard her voice in my head again. A bit more respectful this time. "How are you able to communicate with me like this?" She had no more explanations.
