Victoria: A Novel Novels & Stories

Her eyes roamed over the neighboring houses, each standing tall, some even surpassing the height of Augustine's abode. For the first time in what felt like an eternity, Victoria felt a sense of peace. She closed her eyes, savoring the crisp scent of the morning air, which, though not as biting and tormenting as the Arctic winds she was accustomed to, held the promise of a new life in this human world. * * *

Glass exploded inward, cold night air rushing in. "You stupid girl!" Victoria snarled, blood seeping through her scrubs. "You think you can fight me? I've killed dozens of women more dangerous than you!" I didn't answer. Didn't waste breath on words. I dove for her legs, tackling her the way I'd seen in movies, desperate and clumsy but effective. We crashed to the floor together. The gun skittered away, sliding under Eli's bed. Victoria's elbow connected with my ribs, driving the air from my lungs. Pain exploded through my chest, but I held on, the scalpel still clutched in my hand.

But heavens know Victoria will never accept such folly so she escaped Ulsan's power. At last Victoria thought her problems were solved when Damian found that little whore to be his surrogate, but for some reason she hadn’t been able to waltz back into his life as if nothing had changed. He’d seemed genuinely angry about her departure, even though it’s what any rational woman would have done in her shoes. She’d experience a quick flash of hope when she realized that his sperm was fertile after all, but then he’d ruined her plan to steal it. Everything had fallen apart, and Victoria was sick of watching all her dreams slip away. She had to do something – desperate times called for desperate me

“Two kingdoms divided, two kingdoms united. A war is coming, bigger than what you have expected—” I pulled my hand away from Petra before she could even finish. I held my hand close to my chest as I tried to push myself away from her. “Let me finish—” “No,” I said which made her pursed her lips shut. I stayed quiet and it was evident that I was frightened by the things she said. “Someone will betray you, Victoria,” she warned, “someone close to you. Be careful of who you trust.” My heart raced within my chest and I felt the sweat trickled down my face. Chills ran up and down my arms as I felt the coldness wrapped itself around my spine. To say that I’m scared would be an understatement. I wa

But Victoria was the only woman who had the audacity to make such a mighty and powerful man her plan B. Victoria was the only daughter of the Dawn family, who resided in Sea City. She had been friends with Jasper ever since they were young, and her sweet and beautiful complexion resembled that of an elegant swan’s. On the other hand, Summer was an idiot who had lost her memory in an accident, not knowing a single thing about herself. Investigations had shown that no one called Summer Plath existed in Sea City, and her identity remained a mystery. Jasper was in love with Victoria, and to him, Summer was worthless.

I understand that you will likely be angry with me for the actions I am about to take, but unfortunately, I feel like I have no other option if I want to win you over. I will be back sooner than you think, Victoria, and no matter how long it takes, I will make you mine. I will dissolve your fiery resistance towards me; this time, nothing and no one will stand in my way. **** VICTORIA’S POV I slowly put my leg on the pillow on the couch. My legs started getting a little sore these days. The more I get heavier with my pregnancy, the more I start feeling body aches. Well, I am sure it will be worth everything at the end of the day.

I finally had everything I wanted and needed. Especially now that Victoria was well out the way. The call I got last night to inform me that Victoria had probably been killed by rogues as there were no sign of her anywhere in the forests. Finally I could relax and know that she was no longer a threat. I decided to get up have a shower and let Alex sleep for a little while longer, since we were going to have a busy day. Once I was showered and dressed, I decided to go downstairs and fix myself, some breakfast .

My dear readers, I am glad to report that Aric has fulfilled 3,448 of his promises to them by the end of this novel. The End

Victoria fell to the ground and Benard stepped forward, pressing her head harder against the floor with his shoe. “You think I would let you slap me? Ha! You fool. You bitch.” he felt her struggle beneath him and at the same time he felt a strange thrill at the thought of killing her. Victoria closed her eyes. The desire for revenge burned in her chest, but the poison in her body and the deep cut on her stomach left her with no strength to act on it. Darkness slowly surrounded her and little by little her body began to go numb. “One day... I will find a way to take revenge on all of you. Even if I have to return as a ghost and haunt you in the darkness.” she whispered, only to hear his vicio

It didn't take long for Victoria to gather the few books she needed. “There's still three hours to go,” she muttered, glancing at her watch with its peeling strap. The watch was a memento from her college days, a gift from Chelsea, a best friend who now worked at a well-known hospital in Japan. The memories made her heart ache a little. Since she left Central City in her pregnant condition, Victoria had cut off all lines of communication. Not only out of shame, but also a desire to bury a past full of wounds. “Why am I thinking about this again?” she grumbled, trying to dismiss the thought. She opened her notebook, busy copying information from the books she had collected. Some books she dec
