Victorious #rex Dies Novels & Stories

When the authorities arrived, they’d know exactly whose war this was. By the time Jaxon returned to the penthouse, his suit was scorched and his knuckles raw. Raven rose from the sofa, pale. “What happened?” He didn’t answer immediately. He walked to the bar, poured two fingers of bourbon, and downed it in one swallow. Only then did he meet her eyes. “Victor’s dead.” The words dropped like lead. Raven’s breath hitched, she knew what Victor meant to him. More than a bodyguard. More than family. “Jax, I’m so sorry…”

Victor lay defeated, his armor shattered and his dark ambitions thwarted by the guardians of the artifacts As Victor lay defeated on the ground, the battlefield around us was eerily quiet. The remnants of his forces stood in shock, their resolve crumbling as they realized their leader had been vanquished. Maya, Lila, and I stood together, our breaths heavy with exertion yet filled with the relief of victory. "It's over, Victor," Maya's voice rang out, firm and unwavering. "Your quest for power ends here." Victor struggled to rise, his face contorted with rage and disbelief. "You... you cannot stop me," he spat, his voice hoarse. "The artifacts... they belong to me!"

I watched both Ray and Rory stare at themselves confused, and that grew the dead hope within my heart that in the end, they would consider it. I watched them go back to the chambers of the elders and whilst a short temporary meeting was being held by Ray and Rory, there was a commotion up on the gallows, causing everyone to look up. A shocking gasp escaped our lips, we saw the soldier who had taken Rex up there hung to death by Rex himself. Tears began falling from my eyes as I knew Rex had just signed our death deal and worst still, he had a look of rage in his eyes as if he could face the whole army at this point.

Victor raised the rifle slightly. The red laser dot moved back to Alexander’s chest. “For you.” The words hung in the cold night air. Then Victor added calmly “Because tonight… Alexander Blackwood dies.” And his finger tightened on the trigger.

Not a revenge raid. War. I met Elijah’s eyes across the chaos. “We need to find a way out.” “No,” he said, low and firm, blood smeared across his jaw. “We end it. We end him.” Victor. He was cutting through warriors like a demon, laughing through the pain, empowered by the very madness he preached. And we were the only ones who could stop him. Even if we died trying. And Bodies slammed into stone and blood painted the floors crimson.

Who knows. I get distracted by some footsteps but I don’t look away from Mags, she’s my only focus. “If this is the sack of shit you want to defend, here he is. Viuda Negra dies tonight,” Dozer booms, as he drops Hugo on the ground, feet away. The male cries out in agony, though if he’s as high as I’m guessing he’s probably feeling a fraction of what he should. The Reeve’s eyes go wide as his arm with the gun lowers on its own. Mick doesn’t wait. We run toward him at full speed with all we have, just as I see a wolf I know to be Asher, also known as Missile, lunges from behind.

He leaned his whole body onto mine making it hard for me to support all his weight. "Well that was some touching shit back there! I must say, you're quite a distraction. A very good distraction on my part." A deep husky voice suddenly said and I glanced up while tears started pouring out of my eyes and saw the guy who was sitting on the chair with a bloody fucked up face, grinning happily back at me. "I'll fucking kill you!" I yelled at him and he chuckled while leaning back on his chair. "Not if I kill you first and let you and Ryder to have a happy reunion in hell." I slowly reached one hand behind my back, and wrapped my hand around my gun that was tucked into my jeans waistband.

After all, she did have practice. Alexander watched as a determined expression appeared on her face, he barely stopped a sneer from appearing on his face, the female lead seems to think that just because she was reborn then she was the smartest and the strongest forgetting that even with rebirth she is still a normal human, killing her in future would be like humans crushing ants underneath their boots.

She wanted to crush him, crush his ego, crush his spirit like she did for Maxwell Richter, and to do that, I needed to get into his arena. The only way to crush Malcom Reece was to beat him in a cage he thrived the most in—politics. Valencia was teetering on the edge of death to protect me, holding her own end of the contract, and if there's on thing Vladislav Moroz doesn't do... It's owe a debt. "Mr. Moroz?" The doctor called out as he pushed the door open, my eyes flickered from his face to Valencia’s figure on the bed, now dressed in a hospital gown.

Everything happened in the blink of an eye. When Rex came to his senses, he and his teammates were already eliminated. Hector was frustrated. He slammed his fist on the ground. "You're despicable." Victoria looked at the defeated men and grinned. "All is fair in love and war. You grew up in a military family, for goodness' sake. "You're digging your own graves if you show mercy on your enemies. That's a simple rule, yet you all don't seem to understand it."
