Embracing the Devil

Embracing the Devil

I almost shouted it out loud but quickly realized that it would certainly wake Tom up. I shook my head and gathered all my strength to focus on writing as an only possible remedy for my condition. I wanted to write few paragraphs about my newly created female lead. First, I had to name her… “Should I name her like a typical, beautiful heroin?” I considered all types of queen-like names. I wasn’t sure what was it about but whenever I thought of a beautiful, wise female character, her name always started with a letter “E” – Esther, Emma, Eleonor, Elena or… Elisabeth Swan…

The Bartered Princess

The Bartered Princess

His eyes were a mixture of brown and green and always speculative when they looked at her. Did he find her wanting or something? Sigurd, her father’s blood brother, was a tall man with red hair turning silvery in places. She caught herself staring at the small, forked beard braids and avoided his pale green eyes after that. His wife, Ruth, was much smaller than he and flanked by their twin boys, Snorri and Egil. Being Beyla, she had to ask, in Norse: “Do you have Vercian middle names? Mine is Amber.”

DEVIKA: The First Female Alpha Of Vukaria

DEVIKA: The First Female Alpha Of Vukaria

Girls were expected to marry warriors, bear heirs, and stay out of battle. That was the law. That was tradition. That was the curse. But Devika didn’t care about laws. She didn’t want a mate. She didn’t dream of love or dresses or soft futures. She dreamed of war. Of standing at the head of the Nightvale pack. Of seeing Alpha Jaxson fall to his knees and beg for mercy. So she cut her hair, changed her name to Devan, and wrapped her chest in thick cloth every night until it ached.

My Next Life As A Wicked Dame (ENGLISH)

My Next Life As A Wicked Dame (ENGLISH)

For an old grumpy man like him to admire someone, that person must be so amazing. "I'm not sure if you heard her name before but she was the Legendary Archmage who froze all the northern land of the West Continent, defeated thousands of armies just by herself, and made a terrible snowstorm in the middle of the month of Fire (July). She was entitled as The Ice Goddess and Hellen of the Iceland.” Wow! That was such a cool nickname and title. She must be pretty strong and powerful. And it wasn't a shock that I didn't know her because she was from the west continent, it was only natural.

Kisses of a HitWoman

Kisses of a HitWoman

A woman who'd been winning wars before Dominic was born. "Dominic Moretti," she said, her voice steady and sure. "Lena Vasquez. Thank you for coming." Up close, Lena could see the resemblance now that she was looking for it. Not in the face. In the way she held herself. In the particular stillness of someone who'd learned to control every muscle, every breath. "My name is Victoria Volkov," the Founder said. "Though I've used many names. Your mother called me Tori. I called her the most brilliant woman I'd ever met." She looked directly at Lena. "And I've been waiting fifteen years to meet you properly."

The Witch Female Alpha

The Witch Female Alpha

She asked and I stilled. "Why will I reject you, you're my mate." I said and she sighed. "Oh." She replied. "Alpha, I'm back." Aren said and I stood up. "I'll be with you soon." I told her leaving to meet Aren outside. Our hacker and computer operator found information about others easily. "What did you find?" I asked. "She's kinda a rogue, but not really." Aren replied. "Explain." I said. "She was the daughter of the former beta of the Crescent pack, her pack was overthrown and they had a new alpha named Alpha Rick, the alpha that has been really disturbing at times to us." He said and I swallowed, wondering what he did to her.

Marked by Monsters - Gravemire Academy Year 1

“Wish me luck!” “You got this,” I whispered. She pranced to the front, pricked her finger, and dropped her blood. The cauldron hissed. Smoke curled upward in a thick silver mist. “House Vargheim.” The crowd clapped. I grinned. Wolf girl. Knew it. She bounced back, glowing. “Did you SEE that? Omg! I’m a Vargheim bitch!” Then....“Isandra Haddock.”

My Ruthless Alpha King

My Ruthless Alpha King

“I am Alpha Vektor, my queen. This is my beta Susanne and my gamma Ambrose.” "It's nice to meet everyone." I said I could feel their hurt, anger and hatred for the people of Lygion. I watched them all and noticed they looked like well bred savages. Their hairstyles made them look like vikings from the tale of the Scandinavian era. The beta had the sides of her hair shaven, then two braids lined the paths where her red hair began close to the middle of her head, that patch of hair was long and got to her waist.

Bayless D'Ambra
I'm reading this book and so far so good!! It has great potential, up to this point which is chapter 37, I'm enjoying the book. It also look as if the main character are going to have more interactions with each other, so things are about to heat up. Great job so far author!!

So far so good, good story flow so far keeps me in the edge. What I don’t like though are the POVs that just a repetition of the scenarios. I have to scroll past it as it’s just fillers. Since it is still incomplete, I will have to put off reading this until then.

Mortal's choice

Mortal's choice

However she recognized a name that was written in an arch across the top. The first one she read said Fenrisúlfr then Vánagandr, before Hróðvitnir. All names she’d seen in the research that she did. One phrase she picked out as well had a name in it. Stating that here within lay Fenrir, bound by glipenir and with blade and chain he would be held until Ragnarok. She was surprised she read it so well, like it clicked in her brain. Like she could always read it. Maybe that should have been a red flag to her, but she felt kind of excited and started to walk around the thing. That scientific geek part of her driving her onward.

Engrossing, different, and the only reason why I bought more coins, so I could read the whole book. I got tired of the repetitive werewolf stories and this book really hits the spot. Thank you author!
