LIES OF HOPE

LIES OF HOPE

“Okay,” he said. “So, let’s hear your plan.” Shit! “I don’t have a plan, exactly,” I said. “It’s more of an outline.” “I’m shocked,” he deadpanned. “Look, smartass, we have too many villains and no way of knowing which one committed which crime. We do know that one of them wants me dead.” Jason flinched when I said this, but didn’t interrupt. “If we figure out a way to make him or her think they’ve got an easy shot at me, we’ll have ’em.”

The Villainess Justice System

The Villainess Justice System

, She asked in a calm but deadly tone,"Who am I?" The system who had keenly watched her behavior from her outburst till this very moment, thought she was very 'Interesting'. She didn't look scared or anxious, being able to hold one's peace in such a situation was a huge feat, worthy of applause. It grinned 'I might be lucky to have her as my host.' Ignoring her questions, it replied. {I am system 078, The Villanness Justice System. You are my host now as you have been chosen by the Superiors, after being ejected from your original world. We are a perfect match in both matrix, mind and potential so we are now in a soul bound relationship.}

Project: Villainess

Project: Villainess

She smiled softly at me, her eyes beaming with sincerity, reassuring my doubts and clearing up the negativities in my mind. "... thank you, Joewella" I mumbled while plastering a smile on my face. In this world, Joewella is my first ally. She is the only one Victoria could trust and lean on. Only her. So why do I feel a hidden presence somewhere? Like a rat lurking around the corner. I lifted the scissors inside the kit and impulsively threw it with all my might towards the window, stabbing the oak tree without looking.

The Villain's Hero

The Villain's Hero

“Liam is a bully. I don’t like bullies.” “Mhm,” he rose to his feet and moved to stand near the wall of greenery. “You are a hero.” “Me?” I was astonished. “Oh, no. That’s Tarragon. She’s the hero. I’m just… me.” “No,” he turned back and offered me his hand. His palm was warm and calloused against mine and his arm strong as he lifted me to my feet. He smiled down at me and reached out to stroke a lock of my hair that had fallen free of its braid back behind my ear. “You are a hero. Every villain needs a hero, and you’re mine, Daethie. I think it’s safe for us to get out of here. What do you think?”

She is the Villain

She is the Villain

I had never imagined Chad would be such a jerk. When Chad and his friend laughed at Annika, I was indignant. I rushed over to cover his mouth, not realizing how pale Annika looked. She fumbled, desperately wanting to run, and eventually tripped and fell into the swimming pool. Nathan saved her, and it became a classic tale of the prince saving the ordinary girl, just like in many romantic stories. People loved to read these kinds of stories. As the couple's story gained popularity on campus, it became evident that it needed a villain, a malicious character who would bully Cinderella and try to steal her prince away. I was perfect for that role.

The Girl He Hates

The Girl He Hates

I interrupted, remembering the moment vividly. Jason nodded, his eyes filled with rage and sadness. "Yes, but I wish I had never said that." I could see the regret in his eyes as he spoke. "I lured you into the devil's lair without realizing the consequences of my advice." Jason's vulnerability and honesty touched my heart in a way I never expected. I remained silent, not knowing what to say and feeling the weight of his words. I still couldn't believe that my father was the villain in my life, despite Jason's confession.

Harvey York's Rise to Power

Harvey York's Rise to Power

“The return of an abandoned young master who was kicked out of Hong Kong…” “Sounds like the main character from a novel.” “Shouldn’t you be clinging to him right now?” “Don’t you want to rise to power?” Queenie chuckled coldly. “Jason’s pretty powerful, but he has no bottom line.” “The reason he acquired this much power and status in just six years was only because he was on the front lines in the battle against Country H!” “He’s from Country H, yet he’s willing to be used as a weapon against his own country! A man like that is far more heinous compared to Vince!”

Second Chance Alpha

Second Chance Alpha

It's all a big coincidence. I take a seat on the couch, to stop myself from pacing back and forth. I think about what Jason said. He's going to kill Monty. He said it like it was nothing. Is Jason a psycho killer too? He said things were different for them and that there are no cops to go to. So do they just kill each other? Jason's a werewolf and I've been here for weeks with him. I'm sure if he wanted to kill me he could've by now. He told me that he would never hurt me and for some reason, I believe him.

Great story, but has some typos and grammatical errors. Your verb tenses need to be more consistent. I absolutely love the plot and characters in this book however and look forward to the next one!

TOO LATE TO WANT ME

TOO LATE TO WANT ME

He had no idea how closely I had been watching, how thoroughly I had studied his past patterns, his weaknesses, and his delusions. As I moved through the elegant corridors of the auction house, my mind sharpened into focus. Skylar had handled Natalia beautifully on her own, proving she was stronger than even she sometimes realized. But Jason was a different breed of threat. Sneaky, persistent, and fueled by whatever twisted narrative he had built in his head. His mother’s sudden change of heart about Skylar being the “backbone” of his success was just another red flag. I had people digging into that too.

Alpha Dane’s Little Project

Alpha Dane’s Little Project

“Act nonchalant all you want. You and I know Vivica would not spare you a second if she finds out what kind of psychopath you are. She might be damaged and …” I closed in with one fluid motion and grabbed the neck of his shirt. “Don’t you ever, clamber that.” Jason smirked, looking around to meet the prying eyes around us. “Let me go. They’re all staring.” “Let them stare.” I gritted. “What happened? You used to be a sucker for attention.” He yanked my hand off and smoothed his shirt. “None of these facade you put on will fool me. You and I know you don’t love her, so drop the act already. It’s making me sick.”
