Protecting The Royal Babies: Nanny For A Wife

Protecting The Royal Babies: Nanny For A Wife

That was all, but I had been wary of the knowing smile he had given me for a split second. "Yes." I muttered, waiting for him to leave before I opened the book. "That would be all." He bowed, leaving the room. The librarian wasn't an old man with a face covered in grey hairs. He was young, older than I was, but younger than the stereotype and definitely weirder. I scanned the book and realised the order of druids contained spells translated to English. These were too useful to be locked away and forgotten inside this dark, cold room. The book listed the spells numbered in ascending order. A few of them had symbols next to them and a how-to-use description attached to it.

RED HOT STORIES (A COLLECTION OF ST*AMY STORIES)

RED HOT STORIES (A COLLECTION OF ST*AMY STORIES)

His hands finally came up from under the counter and clutched in its grip was a book–brown covered and without a speck of dust. “A cheque book?" I asked, arching a brow as I tilted my head. “You want to give me a cheque? I appreciate the thought, Ger Bear, but you know I ain't allowed in the back. You know what happened the last time I went there.” "It's not a cheque book,” Gerald mumbled before sliding it across the counter to me. "It's a spell book. One that can be used to summon the demon lord, Anakin.” I stood still, my fingers grazing the cover. "A spell book?” I asked and Gerald nodded. A strained laugh tore out of my lips. "Tell me you're joking, Gerald.”

The Alpha’s Human Temptation

The Alpha’s Human Temptation

She quickly moved on to the next step. “Spellcasting is more than just throwing energy around. There are words, incantations, and movements that enhance the power.” She walked over to a book resting on a wooden bench and flipped through the pages. “Here. Try this one. It is a simple energy manipulation spell.” I took the book, scanning the ancient script. The words felt foreign, yet familiar, as if they had always been buried somewhere deep inside me. Luminare exanthis, feron voltara.

When There Is Magic

When There Is Magic

It was hand written. She went on, flipping the book and stopping to read through some parts of it. It was a book about spells and she found herself laughing at the silliness of the thought that magic was still in existence. Some of the spells in the book made Matilda to shake her head and conclude that the book had been written during the time that witches existed. Some of the recipes in the book had ingredients like a two day old crow's blood, the crushed bark of a cider tree, four leaved clovers, mint leaves that had bloomed in the summer and many other bizarre ingredients.

The Werewolf Curse

The Werewolf Curse

“When will you bring Darin to me? Is it possible to really possible to raise someone from the dead?” Roman said. “Nothing is impossible. All I need is the right spell, I’m waiting for the book to come to me.” West lied. He was stalling because he was still trying to locate Peter. There was no way he could do a locator spell because he had never seen Peter nor did he possess any of his belongings. “What book?” Roman said. “Oh, it’s a book of spells, mostly ancient spells. It goes to each witch in the city, it stays for a certain period and then goes to another. Witches should stay in colonies to reduce the duration of the cycle.” West explained.

SPELLBOUND WITH YOU

SPELLBOUND WITH YOU

I smile admiring them. "Tomorrow is the day after a millennium of waiting, who is it going to be???" I was taken aback, since Nana spoke in Riddles, I don't understand any of the things she said "Err…..Nana..what do you mean?" I asked scratching my hair, "Tomorrow is the full moon, are you prepared?" "Yeah sure you said we are going to work at the Mansion tomorrow," I said "A heart exchanged for power, a soul sold to the devil, who will be mated to her?"

“What kind of spell?” “I want to see who was here. It’s a divining spell. I have to be very specific about what I want and then it will show me. In this case, I’m going to ask it to show me who was here. It’s a bit more complicated than that, but that’s the gist.” She says, moving to the center of the room.

Another beautiful and wonderful story in the Guardians series. I LOVE LOVE LOOOOOOVE that at least Xander (on the top in this race) and Rich are taking after their parents in regard to having so many pups, lol…, Xander was one of my favourites together with Cayd!!

Into His Darkness

Into His Darkness

It has been too long since I opened the door. The drowsiness started to drift and soon I was able to think straight. I have been collecting valuables and various books since childhood. Since every battle. Some of them were relics, I gathered from the fallen alphas who once stood in my path. Others carries much more values as they carry the wisdom of millennia and some powerful spells I stole from Hecate before breaking our paths. I opened the lower most drawer knowing there were only two books, one with titled ‘The book of curses and potions’ and another I was looking for, ‘The book of Dead’. I didn’t open it and put it in my bag before walking out my study.

Hello lovely people! sorry for leaving you all hanging in middle of nowhere. I seriously didn't get time in past month to update for which I am really sorry. I will try to complete the story in this book only. Please be patient with me as I am recently acquainted to college life.

I'm guessing that English isn't your first language. Maybe it would be best to hire an editor? Some of the grammar mistakes make for a confusing read. I have had to re-read quite a few lines and guess the meaning with context clues. I'm intrigued with the story so keep it coming!

Poison Magic: Fantasy Collection

Poison Magic: Fantasy Collection

One that decided out fates. I looked at Callie and she sparkles like she’s been doused in golden glitter! And now her mark, the one I gave her is covered in gold sparkles on top of my blue. It looks like magic dust! “What does this mean?” I asked Grand Elder Anastasia, who is giving us a watery smile. I was pretty damn sure she had all the answers I needed at that moment. She is an ancient being, after all. But she looked so shocked, I wasn't sure what to expect. Was this a good thing or a bad thing?

Whispers Of The Moon's Spell

Whispers Of The Moon's Spell

Shelves stretched high, filled with ancient tomes, their leather bindings cracked and worn. "We need to find the spell," I whispered, feeling the weight of history pressing down on us. We began our search, moving through the rows of books with a mix of reverence and urgency. Every creak of the floorboards, every rustle of pages seemed amplified in the silence. After what felt like an eternity, Nathanial's voice broke the stillness. "Emily, over here." I rushed to his side and saw it—an old, ornate book sitting on a pedestal. Its cover was embossed with strange symbols, the pages yellowed with age.
