The Alpha's Curse: The Enemy Within

The Alpha's Curse: The Enemy Within

I had no idea exactly what to do now that I was in Valerie's spell room. I sighed, walking to the shelves instead. Valerie told me some of the books were actually spell books, or better yet, grimoires, as she called them. I grabbed one from the shelves, pulling it open. I could barely understand the words written in them; they were in unknown languages.

This novel is sooo good. I wouldn't mind reading all future books of the author...my only problem though is...it needs editing...badly. Am sure the author is a man and he got the anatomy of the woman wrong!!! Man... the clit and vagina are two different things...

I’m on chapter 37 and its getting stressful. Poor Sheila doesn’t deserve this trash mate, he needs to accept the rejection and let her move on, she’s obviously in pain and he’s making her suffer. I get that they THINK Thea is the chosen but doesn’t mean he needs to continue sleeping with her…

KIMORA

KIMORA

My home was the closest to the ocean, the farthest point away from the temple, all wisely planned by my grandpa so I would have a hard time lurking around during sessions that plan is not working out well. I reached in and carefully pulled out an old book, a very very old book. The pages were turning a musky brown colour and the ink came off if pressed on. The book cover was dirty and faded but I could still make out the words Dark Arts. The book was originally general knowledge of dark arts, spells, potions and a whole lot but the one I held had been reviewed with hand written guidelines, understanding of spells and how to use the spells to create new ones.

Book 1: Enchanter's Realm (The Cursed Demesne)

I ignored it and smiled. "I heard Merko mumbbling words, and repeats it now and then," I told him with the intent to pull away the topic from Mherkealla. I admit, I really wanted to ask about her. However, seeing Yamiko's reaction made me realize that he wasn't ready for it. "He might be trying to create a new spell. Spells are powerful, like summoning the spirit of nature to hear your words and abide it. Yet, some are too strong and evil that it is forbidden use."

Stolen

Stolen

Fynn told her how I found the book and that we were hoping she could help and her eyes grew wide when he handed it to her. “This is the original grimoire!” She exclaimed as her hands slipped over the covers. She told us how she had only seen images of it, but that it disappeared hundreds of years ago. It was the book of spells of the very first witch and contained things people couldn’t even dream of! The tension in the room was so thick as she paged through the book that I had a hard time breathing. We were all waiting for her to tell us that she had found the unlinking spell! Fynn showed her the page and she told us that it was the language of the firsts. The very first magical people hid

A Bear's Mirrored Romance

A Bear's Mirrored Romance

Gemma knelt down and struggled for a few minutes to pry up the old floorboard. Sure enough, under a layer of grey dust lay a cracked mirror and an old leather-bound book. “Oh, wow. I see what you mean by it looking creepy. That book reminds me of the book from the movie Evil Dead, but smaller. You think it’s a diary or a grimoire?” “A what?” “A grimoire. A witch’s spellbook. Like a cookbook for spells and potions.” “I don’t know.” Gemma handed the book up to Becky and set the mirror on the bed carefully. “Mind the mirror, it’s broken in the corner.”

I just don’t know why my parents forbid me from using it but it appears to me that it will just cause me danger so I have no reasons in using so. “Happy Birthday Crystal!” A familiar voice coming from behind me really surprised me. The voice came from Kirk Robinson, my friend at Pyronia Island where we once lived. “Thanks for coming! Who are you with? I thought you’ll not be able to come but you did! You really are amazing.” Kirk gave me a slight hug before handing me his present. He is a Spirit wizard that’s why he knows how to create potions, he can also heal wounds.

First Bite

First Bite

Dust motes spiraled through the shafts of late afternoon light, settling on rows of books that seemed to be holding their breath. Which meant something was happening elsewhere in the house. And that meant Autumn wasn’t telling her everything again. Jade set aside her notes and flipped back through the Veilwalker Apocrypha, an unofficial, unapproved collection of personal spells, protection rites, and "soul-binding risks" that the Council had once banned. She’d borrowed it from Dominic’s private archive without asking. She found the passage at the very back. Handwritten. Tucked between two pages with salt-burned corners:

The Secretary's Spell

The Secretary's Spell

The ticking of the wall clock and the soft murmurs of the city outside created a peaceful background. While rummaging through the documents, a particular file caught my eye. It was labeled "Grey Enterprises: Classified." My curiosity piqued, I opened it, revealing a stack of old documents, financial records and surveillance photographs. My heart skipped a beat when I realized these were remnants of Sebastian Grey’s secret operations. One letter in particular stood out. Gray was called "The Raven" from someone's name. The cryptic language and eerie tone sent chills down my spine. The letter pointed to widespread fraud, suggesting that Gray and Blackwood were merely participants in a larger ga

BOUND TO THE DEMON LORD

BOUND TO THE DEMON LORD

"But as I told you when we first met, defensive spell is tricky. It’s not just about stopping a blow; it’s about outsmarting the threat." He began pacing the aisles until he reached a high shelf, pulling down a thick, leather-bound volume that looked like it had been handled for centuries. He brought it over to a large wooden table and gestured for her to sit. "This is a new spell book I recently acquired," Edan explained, sliding it across the table toward her. "It’s dedicated entirely to the art of defense. Check it out." Zayla pulled the book closer, the heavy cover creaking as she opened it. The pages were filled with intricate diagrams and flowing script. She began to go through them on

I believe I’m about halfway through. This story is amazing, and definitely deserves a lot more notice. I see it’s completed and genuinely hope it is and you didn’t just stop updating it. The characters are great, the back stories to them especially Asher is amazing. Definitely recommend this book!

Hey Readers! I’ve poured my heart into about 80 chapters, yet not a single review. How am I supposed to know if the story is good, worth continuing, or if you’re dropping it halfway? Your feedback motivates me and keeps this story alive. No reviews soon, I’ll take a break and hold back new chapters.

The Miracle Luna

The Miracle Luna

I rose slowly from the chair behind my desk, camera forgotten in my hand, the rogue’s eerie half-smile still frozen on the screen. “You’re sure?” I asked, my voice low, and rough with tension. Aurora nodded once. “Not just sure. I’ve confirmed it. I had to dig into ancient spellbooks, the forbidden tomes that haven’t seen light since before even your grandfather ruled. But it all lines up.” She crossed the room, pulling a folded parchment from inside her jacket. Old. Yellowed with age. The writing on it wasn’t even in English—it was some forgotten, curving script that shimmered faintly when the candlelight hit it.
