Violet’s POV My eyes darted between the map in my hand and the narrow path ahead. According to this damn thing, I was close to the exact location, actually. My boots were covered in ash and blood, both mine and not mine, and the forest around me had gone eerily quiet.

She dismissed with a wave of her hand, Arlen exhaled, turning to me to talk something into her I stepped forward, “Zara, Arlen is right.
