Viridian Forest Map Novels & Stories

Mara brought up the rear, her knife sheathed, her eyes sharp, catching the desert’s subtle shifts, her quiet strength a steady anchor. "We’re almost back," Lucian said, his voice rough, raw from the Abyss’s fight. Pointing to the faint glow of the pack’s compound, its torches a beacon through the dunes. We rest, regroup, then find the next node. Sylva’s map will show us. I nodded, gripping the dagger, the mark pulsing, the bond grounding me. The map, I said, my voice hoarse, it marked the Abyss as the last anchor, but there was another, wasn’t there? A faint star, beyond the wastes, in the sea cliffs.

The fight. Still breathing. Still burning. And above us, the sky no longer trembled. It waited. Just like we did. Ready for whatever came next. Bianca held the scroll out. I unrolled it. A map. Three red marks. One in the south ridge, one near the Whispering River, and one…..faint, newer…..closer than either of us would’ve liked. “They’re testing every edge,” she said. “Looking for weak seams in the bond.”

my father roared. "Ruvik!" she screams his name as she is taken away. A puff of smoke swirls around my mind as the memory transition to another location. A purple portal opened as Maple ran through a doorway through the woods in the night, with ferals chasing her. The forest I recognize because it's the Blue Moon Pack's territory. She tripped but carefully protected her child and continued to run. Distance enough where she could no longer see, she found a tree with a large hole in the middle. My mother crawls through and hugs her baby on her chest. Her breathing was hard and frantic.

A lot of coding went into creating these games, and while virtual reality offered players more degree of freedom than regular games, there were still many game rule restrictions that players had to abide by. The woods came into view as Zen casually batted some daring green slimes along the way. There were no blue slimes around, and Zen hoped that it remained this way for a while until he found the red spider flower. The foraging encyclopaedia was very helpful and pointed to the general location the herbs could be found. Spotting a red flower in a jungle of green and brown was a lot harder than Zen expected. He thought this would be a cakewalk, and the red flower would stick out like a sore t

A large wolf with yellow eyes, standing beside a woman and a small child. Revira's heart ached. "It's beautiful, sweetie." She walked over to the old bookshelf in the corner of the room. This was a Rakar family heirloom. She started pulling out the thick, dusty books, searching for something. Anything. Her hand stopped on a book with a worn leather cover. It had no title. She opened it. It contained no writing. Instead, it was a map. A hand-drawn map of Velmora. Revira's heart pounded. She saw strange symbols on the map. Symbols for mountains, rivers, caves. And she saw one spot marked with a red circle. Their current position.

According to the map's directions, I needed to head to the forest in the west. The whole kingdom of Zyrenia was surrounded by a vast desert in the east, dense far stretched forest in the west, high mountain peaks in the north and the ocean in the south. The forest of the west, as it was known, wa so vast no one knew where it ended. Maybe because no one ever needed to go into that direction before.

VIKTOR There was only one way to reach the Sacred Forest from the Vyrclaw Pack. The path behind the alpha's mansion. That was why Delilah and I had to wait until night time before we snuck around the pack lands. The security was tight, but it was nothing but child's play in my eyes after Kytiri got me the map of the Vyrclaw Pack. He also got me the defence layout of the alpha's private lands, so we were able to bypass most of the traps.

Within the heart of the mystical forest, a sacred clearing lay nestled beneath the protective canopy of ancient trees. Moonlight, akin to liquid silver, cascaded through the delicate veil of leaves, casting a celestial glow upon the sacred ground. It was here, in this enchanted haven, that Archer, Mateo, and Violet found themselves—three souls intricately bound by the tapestry of fate.

Kirou was currently online and rushing through the treetops of Elderwood Forest. After his "research" on the guild operations and their relationships, Kirou spent some time looking over a few details for Immortal Era from its website. One of those details happened to be the 'World Map'.

She carried a thin bundle of papers this time along with a folded old map, and Inara immediately straightened from where she had been reading another section of the book. Ayla noticed the tension in the room but made no comment. She spread the map across the table and placed two fingers over a region far beyond the central Blackthorne territories. “I found something.” Inara leaned over reluctantly. The map was nothing like the human maps she knew. Territory boundaries overlapped strange symbols, forests and sections marked with warnings rather than names. Ayla pointed towards an isolated region surrounded by mountains and an enormous stretch of dark woodland. “There are ruins here. Older tha
