And everyone attached the same importance to it, even if one or the other might later not need to write. After a short break, I continued with the teaching of how to behave towards one's fellow human beings. This consisted of two books: The Rules of Community and the Canon of Honor. “So, my dear children,” the teacher began and raised his index finger, “what are the first three virtues that the rules of the community teach us?” “Modesty, obedience and diligence!” Replied the children obediently in unison. “And what is the highest happiness?” “To find peace and a place in the community!”

Richard interjected. Ben nodded and repeated. “We were divided into the Virtuous and the Corrupt. The Corrupt have determined to seek out the Virtuous and kill us. Granted, we can continue on as a spirit without our vessel and occasionally, but only temporarily, possess a host that is not our vessel – as you saw Stevie do – but we are weaker in spirit form. And we are most vulnerable when our vessel is at the threshold of death. If we die in the presence of the wrong “people” we can be lost, absorbed.”

Yet these four men were slouching their shoulders in and their eyes held unabidded bloodlust and one of them even had half his shirt unbuttoned. Alexander curled up his lips into a sneer as he looked at the cocky men, he was definitely sure they had abilities especially attack ones, in the last three months abilities started showing up and the tide turned and humans didn’t have to fear zombies as much, but humans have no humanity, as long as someone is strong than others then they will abuse their power over those weaker than them. It wasn’t uncommon to find ability user using their abilities to get advantage over normal people, sometimes it’s little things like taking their rations or getti

Ariana looked at me. Confused. “She doesn’t need to stand,” I continued calmly. My voice was steady and firm. I looked directly at Joyce. “The Vice President does not stand to answer questions… especially if it’s asked by you.” Joyce’s smile disappeared. The room grew tense. I leaned back in my chair.

"And once I crossed that line, it became easier to cross it again and again." "What about Vanya Reed? She wasn't threatening your empire directly." "She represented something I couldn't tolerate," I explained. "She was succeeding through honest work and genuine talent, which made my success look hollow by comparison. I needed to prove that virtue doesn't actually triumph over calculated ruthlessness." "How do you feel about her success now?" I looked at the crumpled newspaper on the table between us. "She proved me wrong about everything. Virtue did triumph. Honesty did overcome deception. Good people do sometimes win while evil people face consequences."

he paused and gazed at me. "As for you, your character and personality are nothing to write home about. To make matters worse, you have a lot of terrible vices. I doubt if you have any virtue cos I cannot even think of any. You are lazy, wicked, cruel, arrogant, and ruthless. Maybe there is a virtue that you have that I don't know, so, I will allow you to mention it," he said as he stared steadily at me. I gazed at him and I didn't know what to say. I felt like a fool.

is wholesome, joyful, ecstatic, you and it become one. Consciousness deepens. So for you, the criterion is always this: if something deepens with your consciousness, this is good; if something dissipates with your awareness it is because it is bad. Everything that cannot remain in the conscience is sin and everything that grows with the conscience is virtue. Virtue and sin are not social concepts, they are inner realizations. Just be authentic; this authenticity with your emotions will allow you a glimpse of the real. Only what is real can know the real, only the truth can know the truth, only the authentic can know the authentic that surrounds you. Go deeper into consciousness, and recogni

The sights and the sounds alone would leave any tourist satisfied. Though Daddy was bent on giving us the best things of life, he never failed to inculcate good manners and virtues into us. One thing he would never take from us was telling lies. He abhored fighting and stealing. He would not hesitate to punish us if we attempted any of these vices. He took his time to point out the implication of any wrong action we took and showed us how rewarding it would be to behave in a godly manner. A liar finds it easy to perpetrate other vices; he easily steals, fights, kills and commits all other types of crimes simply because he thinks he can lie and deny committing them, he always chided us.
