I deeply inhaled the sweet scent of the flower and gave a little shudder of bliss. I closed my eyes and just absorbed the moment wanting to remember it. Suddenly the sounds of paws hitting the forest floor overwhelmed me. Then the forest was ignited with flames. Everything glowed vibrant oranges and reds as heavy smoke smothered me from above. I threw myself to the ground desperate for any trace of clean air. As I attempted to crawl out of the flowers a new sound harmonized with the thunder paws, screams and howls for help terrorized me. I clawed at the ground desperate to escape the menacing choir. Fire licked my skin and I screamed for help. Sobs escaped my lips as flaming branches fell on me from above. The smell of burning flesh was the only thing that consumed me as everything went dark.

"Is my touch angering Ms. Gomez?" His fingers traced her bare back, as he whispered in her ears. "Don't worry, I'll fuck you more better and harder than that so called love of yours, Doll," His tongue licked her earlobe. She fisted her palms "So hard that you will beg me to stop," He nibbled her earlobe "What else can we expect from a monster like you. A fucking monster who had tried to force himself on an 18 year old girl," She blurted out. A painful hiss escaped from her mouth, as he grabbed her hairs and pulled them. Her eyes filled with more tears, recalling that inhumanity he had tried to do with her when she was just 18. "I have already paid for that fucking thing, Melanie, with my everything and now you will have to pay for what I had to endure in all these fucking 4 years, just because of you," He groaned, like a caged animal. "You didn't trust me but that fucking love of your life and now look," He brushed his lips over her cheeks. "That love of your life has sold you to me," He pushed her on the bed. "I guess that's enough talk for tonight," His gaze scanned every inch of her naked body, making her horrified. "After all, it's our first wedding night, Mrs Melanie Adrian Salvatore," He hovered over her and she immediately tried to back away but he pinned her on the bed. His hungry vicious eyes bored deeper into her terrified ones. His thumb started tracing over her lower lip. "Now let's make this night the most memorable and painful night of my wife's life," He brushed his lips against hers. "So, she can remember our first wedding night, till the last breath of her life,"

After nursing the baby, I closed my eyes to rest for a moment. The nanny, thinking I was asleep, brazenly clung to my husband, cooing, "Harlan, if your wife finds out that the son she gave birth to was swapped out long ago and that the baby in her arms is actually ours, do you think she’d be furious?” “You’re so smart.
