Randall pressed the end call button and tossed it back to the demon standing over him. "The police have been bought off and our trackers have confirmed that the woman is indeed Sophia Parks," the demon said firmly. "Thanks for the updates, Anthony," Randall said sullenly and rubbed at his red eyes. "Get all these females out of here," he ordered and stood his naked self up. "If that worthless shit of mine cannot follow through with his pledge then I will simply kill her myself," he beamed happily as his clawed fingers wrapped around the8 handle of his revolver.

His frown only seem to deepen with time. "It was weird and scary when Maddox reacted that way..His eyes were— "Gray" He finished.Tension happens to linger in the air, somehow I feel there's something wrong or maybe about to happen. "How do you know?" I asked. The man before me heaved out a sigh. "Demon is trying to take over Maddox completely. Those gray eyes only come back when it's stronger and succeeding in taking control.I have warned him countless times to not use demon. It makes him strong for sure only to lure him into the trap"

"Human... how are you..." Lucien Desrosiers, the Demon King of the dark court, took one stunned step back. The noise behind him died at once. The hall was packed with elders, guards, and newly chosen sacrificial consorts, yet everyone seemed to forget how to breathe. Someone whispered, "She is not afraid of him? The Demon King's whole body carries the lust-curse. Any woman who gets too close starts collapsing within three seconds. Why is she fine?"

I finally felt alive. “But…” He then put on a serious expression. “We found a rare chemical in your blood. “There isn’t a name for it on the market. “However, in the black market, the name of it is ‘Angel’s Kiss’.” Angel’s Kiss? It sounded beautiful, but I could not help but shiver. “It’s an experimental drug that can control someone’s nervous system. “Its main purpose is to brainwash someone. With a large dosage, the person will lose consciousness and become a puppet.

His eyes were as dark as an abyss and was surrounded by vertical pupils, a hallmark of a demonkind. But it was the alpha mark on his left cheek bone, a crimson-tinted signil that confirmed what he was. A demon alpha. Ziva instantly retreated into me and I gasped. He had a struggling human wrapped around his fist. The human's face contorted in terror, eyes bulging, and mouth agape in a terrific scream, but the demon alpha didn't budge. Didn't even bat an eyelash when the human threw a spittle on his face. And then as if the roles were suddenly reversed, his mouth descended upon the human’s.

Beast like us is just a tool f'r the most wondrous evil.

He asked casually. "She wore this?" Damina pointed the jacket at him and he nodded. He had given it to her when she was feeling cold during the dinner date and she pressed it on his arm immediately they had gotten to her room, he had insisted she kept it but she blatantly refused, now Damina has perceived her scent from the Jacket. He didn't like this one bit but the truth was all that matters now. "She's the one. I knew she was something when she came to your rescue at the right time, she's a half witch half demon, we need to stop her now." Damian said sniffing the jacket.

Hendrix replied. "The demon in me is your lord, Hendrix?" Alex asked, puzzled. "Yes, he is. Haven't you wondered why I am the only one who can make you return to your normal state whenever it feels like you're about to erupt?" Hendrix eyed Alex and continued, "I'm the demon's keeper. Its protector. Your people have harmed my demon, and that is why I would ruin them."
