I’m Back, Mr. CEO

I’m Back, Mr. CEO

He keeps his eyes on me until the very last second, until the doors close between us. And then he’s gone. ----- **7:30 AM - Waiting Room** The surgical waiting room is designed to be calming—soft colors, comfortable chairs, quiet music playing. It doesn’t work. Nothing could make this bearable. Catherine is knitting, her hands moving in a steady rhythm even though I can see tears on her cheeks. James is reading a book he’s been on the same page for twenty minutes. Sarah is pacing. Rebecca is on her phone, probably distracting herself with work emails.

Kimberly
Sire you are amazing at writing emotions. I truly understand how Serena and Adrian feel and all the emotions they are going through. Even Ethan’s young voice and how he’s processing everything is amazing. Again I truly appreciate your gift for writing

Wolves at the Lycan's Door

Wolves at the Lycan's Door

It’d been nine hours since he’d seen her being loaded onto the ATV’s stretcher trailer to come there. Out in the corridor, he walked to the station where the healers and caregivers ran the area from. There were two in the station now. There they could monitor cameras, call buttons, and alarms. Much like a nurse’s station in a hospital, but with added extras for those patients that couldn’t speak. A call button for a shifter in their fur was useless, but a call button that a nose could press or stepped on by a paw was different. Shifters may have increased instincts and senses while in their fur, but they didn’t lose their intelligence.

No More Waiting

No More Waiting

“Bleiz, by the time you see this letter, I will have already left. As for where I went, I don’t know either, but you won’t find me. As for why I left, the reason is simple: I don’t want to wait anymore.” “I don’t understand. How much longer do I have to wait for you to take me away? Will you one day lie to me and say that I have to wait for your and Mona’s child to grow up, get married, and have children, or wait until you’ve grown old with her before you leave with me?” “Bleiz, my youth is also limited. I don’t want to continue waiting for you based on an empty promise that has no end in sight. Let’s say goodbye here. We will never meet again.”

Reckless Renegades Merigold's Story

Reckless Renegades Merigold's Story

I walk in and the waiting room is packed and there are two people at the reception desk. I politely make my way through the people to get to the desk. I wait until Mrs. Cruz is done with her customer. Before I can ask her what is going on Thor comes out of the office. “ Merigold, glad you are here. There are people waiting to talk to you.” I immediately get concerned. Thor looks almost panicked. I go over to him. “ Thor, is there a problem?” He shakes his head “ No. There is no problem. You just have some people who want to talk to you.” He says pointing to the waiting room. I’m not sure what to think but I know I can’t keep these people waiting forever.

Really good story with a roller coaster of emotions! Absolutely LOVED the support and relationships Merigold had - so beautiful. Definitely a good read! Excited to read the rest of the series, amazing job author!

To be honest, mind blowing, unconventional but yet short and straight forward love story. One thing for sure, Marigold is such a bad ass chick and one hell lucky girl. Thanks author for the joyride! ...️

Staying with him

Staying with him

He held hers back in the way he held things that mattered, with the full settled weight of him, not performing the holding, just holding. The waiting room had four other people in it and a television mounted in the corner playing something with the sound off. The chairs were the standard chairs, plastic and institutional, the same chairs that appeared in waiting rooms all over the country as though there had been a single procurement decision made about waiting rooms somewhere in the 1980s and no one had revisited it since. She had a specific

HIS BUTTERFLY (BETWEEN TWO DONS)

HIS BUTTERFLY (BETWEEN TWO DONS)

Just open and let someone come out and tell me she is okay. They stay closed. I hear him before I see him. Not his voice, the waiting room is too big for that. But there is a shift in the air near the entrance, the particular disruption of someone moving through a space with total focus and no interest in anything that isn't their destination. I turn toward the entrance.

The Omega and The Arrogant Alpha

The Omega and The Arrogant Alpha

I say, and mean it. They leave before noon. The day moves on. That’s the cruelty of it. There’s always something else to handle. “Savannah, we’re short on space near the west line,” someone tells me. “Shift the overflow closer to the creek,” I reply. “Keep families together.” More logistics. More quiet conversations. More decisions stacked on top of each other until they blur. The message comes after dark. Not official. Not formal. A fragment passed hand to hand until it reaches me stripped of anything unnecessary.

BILLIONAIRE’S PLAY THING

BILLIONAIRE’S PLAY THING

“He doesn’t like waiting rooms.” That detail lodged itself in me like a splinter. Ten on the dot. He didn’t like waiting rooms. Predictable. Dominant men are predictable. I sketched the time into the architecture I’d already built in my head was choke points, cameras, staff rotations. Each trivial fact stacked until the silhouette of a plan emerged. The afternoon became a slow, careful performance. When a supply cart lost a wheel and tipped, scattering bandage rolls like confetti, I was the first to jump forward.

TEMPORARY MATES, PERMANENT CRAVINGS

TEMPORARY MATES, PERMANENT CRAVINGS

My laptop stayed open with too many tabs, each one demanding attention at the same time. Persistent knocks came at steady intervals. A young gamma held onto a file, asking for a job. Two brothers argued over land boundaries until I settled the matter and assigned oversight to a neutral party. A widow reported harassment from a relative; I issued a formal warning and reassigned property access to her name alone. A wounded guard’s family pushed for extended treatment support; I approved the coverage. The accountant presented numbers with a confidence that didn’t hold; I adjusted the allocations and set a mandatory review. None of it stopped. Each problem replaced the last before it fully clear

I just finished book one, and it was quite a ride! Reading this book is more like experiencing and living through everything with the characters vs just reading about it. It makes the book longer, but the immersion makes it way more entertaining. Book 2 is included, so that's a plus. Starting it now

Dear Luxie... Do you think when Emma’s story is over you can write another one with all the families and friends gathered together in an island somewhere alone just being happy with their children and grandchildren reminiscing when they all came together? Maybe even bring back Sasha and Cora.
