Walker Scobell Dad Novels & Stories

Then he said in a desperate voice, "Dad and mom, I also need to leave first!" After he finished speaking, he didn't bother to glance at Snow but walked towards his car directly. Snow said apologetically to Kallena, "Walter is in a bad mood today. I will go to accompany him!" After Snow finished speaking, she chased after Walter. Skyler kept calm. He knew that Walter didn't have the guts to tell their parents about the matter of Jocelyn. It was bad for all of them! Skyler said calmly, "Dad and mom, bye!"

It has to be one of them- my dad or my mom. "Ms. Bells." I look up at the sound of my name, surprised to see Jace Woods, our director, waving at me. Ew, not him, please. I hum inwardly, hating the sight of him. I mean, you don't expect me to smile at the man who collaborates with Patricia in stealing my works, do you? Of course, he sees the annoyance on my face, but the idiot refuses to take the bait. He walks straight to me and beams.

Then the doctor nodded at him and asked him to come in but suddenly he was stopped by Zoe's dad. "Dad, I will give. You're old now so you don't have to do it" Scot forcefully smiled at him but he just shook his head with a strange expression. "We can't Scot, you can't give her" hearing his step dad's words, Scot immediately shook his hand away from his body. Then he looked away from him and entered the room ignoring everything around him.

I knew who it belonged to without having to guess; my father was standing before the imposing entranceway, as if he’d been waiting for me all along. As soon as I got out of the car and went inside, he followed me. “Scarlett, I heard from Senior Scoville that Storm isn’t going home. What’s going on?” I stiffly marched into the kitchen and grabbed a glass from the cupboard. With trembling hands, I poured myself some water and turned to find my father watching me intently... and my glass. Furtive glances were exchanged between us before I took a small sip, and I could sense his tenseness strengthen with every drop that fell from the tip of my glass.

Only big names had the backing to set up shop in that place, and only with their investment would Bolting Group join in. One of them, Ms. Wollock, was a leader of her company. She narrowed her eyes and spoke to Wendy. "Wendy, I helped your mother grab the land Clearwater stands on now. Your father raised me a toast as thanks." Then, she burst into laughter, and everyone followed. Another one, Ms. Summers, brought up Wendy's father's past, her voice dripping with nostalgia. "Your father was a waiter at Halton, and his looks captivated so many. Alas, he never stepped out of his house after your sister's death."

She gave a little nod and after a few more minutes, she stood up and walked out of the clubhouse. “Why can’t she just go to the bathroom here?” Scrapper asked as he sat down next to his dad. “The only reason that I’m going to tell you, is because it’s time for you to start growing the fuck up.” His father said quietly. “When you were on that run with Memphis and the others, your cousin was raped. Here. By a brother.” “Who?” Scrapper asked with quiet anger. “He’s dead. His name is not spoken. And you will not speak of this to her or anyone else.”

On the day of the topping-out ceremony for the resettlement housing, my mother, Diana Knowles, insists on reporting me to the authorities for shoddy workmanship. It's all because my cousin, Marco Sanford, went to play at the construction site, stepped into the freshly set cement, and scraped his knee. "You think you're so great just because you built a couple of buildings?" Mom screams at me. "I can't just stand by and watch you put the whole town in danger just to make millions of dollars by pocketing the difference!" Marco clutches his bandage and explains quietly, "It's all my fault for climbing over the fence to play there, Aunt Diana. The construction workers even tried to stop me.

So there went that idea. I also found out that Ash used to work for the secret service. Ash had been referred to my dad by one of my dad's old acquaintances, Jace Huxley. Jace was the FBI officer in charge of my parent's case when the Cobras had gone after my mom all those years ago. They stayed in touch ever since and have become good friends. Agent Huxley often attended our family gatherings, and we would sometimes spend time with his family as well. Agent Huxley also helped my dad with tightening the security protocols for all of my dad's buildings. He would often consult with Stone Enterprises, so was often seen at my dad's work.

Isaiah said in a low voice. Skylar endured the tears and nodded, "In the future, I will stay by their side to make up for the lost time." The couple chatted with the old lady on the sofa. They talked about their dead daughter and son—in—law. Hearing Legend's name, Joshua asked in surprise, "Is Legend Skylar's uncle?" "Do you know him?" Sloane asked. "Yes. Our family runs philanthropies every year, we know many celebrities in the world of business." Joshua said.

Skylar’s shoulders stiffened. I pushed through anyway. “I should’ve explained earlier. She’s not just some girl from my past. Her family—the Campbells—were close to Coach and I when we were kids. Her dad and Coach went way back, and her mom…” My throat tightened. “Her mom’s been really sick. Cancer.” Skylar finally glanced at me, her eyes softer but still cautious. “Cancer?”
