Sitting alone on the couch with my back facing the kitchen, I can't help but start to turn my head here and there observing the apartment. He didn’t even know when she had done that or how sye had gotten back on the chair but now, she was deeply focused on it. Pink entered his line of sight. Danielle had colored numerous papers that shade and even had streaks of crayon on her face. The even more amusing thing was that the cloth she had on was pink as well as the headband that held her hair in place. “What are you drawing?” He said, raising his voice a bit so it could reach her. Danielle heard and she lifted her head and glanced over at him before responding, “It’s a princess gown.” “That is a princess gown?” Derek couldn't see that well but he knew she didn’t just call the blob she’d drawn on the paper a princess gown.

“She used to write down reminders on these. Find me some exactly like them.” I froze. The stationery was a pale lavender, embossed with delicate silver filigree — unmistakably custom-made. Daniella had designed it herself. “Mr. Garvalle, I... I’m not sure if I can find—” “You’ll find it.” His voice was steel, cutting off any protest. “Or you’ll find someone who can.” I swallowed hard, nodding. “Understood.” As I walked back to my desk, It was clear this couldn’t last much longer. A large framed portrait of a woman. Elegant. Serene. Long dark hair. Gentle smile. Something soft about her features. Lucien stared blankly. “And? It’s a woman.” Daniel leaned closer, whispering like he was about to reveal a scandalous secret. “Look at her properly.”

Dani had chosen everything herself, chossing every tile, ever light fixture, done the very last dor knob. Then she had painstakingly decorated the place to make it a home and Asher had to admit that she had done a damn good job. Even he was impressed. “This place is beautiful. Dani did some incredible work. If she ever gets tired of books, she could have a promising career in interior design.” Comes a voice from beside him and he turns to face him. “After all of these years of seeing my wife achieve so many of her dreams, there is not a doubt in my mind that the woman can do any damn thing that she sets her mind to.” Asher tells his father.

Get a grip, Danika. I hated how he called me by these endearments ‘doll’ and ‘princess’. He knew that it had an effect on me and I somehow just ended up obeying him. What is going on here? In a matter of minutes, they all reached inside the house and Daniella quickly covered her mouth while her eyes dilated. The pulchritudinous living room was a perfect definition of paradise on earth. I’m done with you two.” With that, she moved away from them and shifted her attention to a collage of pictures at the other end of the bar. At first, she assumed it was pictures of celebrities and whatnot. However, upon closer inspection, she realized not a single one of them contained celebrities; they were mostly old pictures. Moreover, all the pictures contained the same person, who looked oddly familiar.

Danielle did not care to change into something more decent before living the room. She walked along the hallway and slowed down in front of Jackson’s office room.
