She cowered before him, her hand instinctively going to her flat belly. “You knew,” he spat, his voice low and dangerous. “You knew you were cheating on me, that’s why you rejected me on our wedding right. You had an human lover!” Adelia’s eyes widened in fear as she shook her head. “No Russe, listen to me.” she whispered. “I swear on my life, I would never!” He had always been taught that werewolves should only mate with their own kind, and the idea of a hybrid child was frowned upon. How could she leave him for some smelly human!

Turns out my wolf is attached to him because he is my mate, a secret we had to keep between us because it was forbidden, and his father would have my head. After many years have passed, we survived a lot together, vampires and werewolves were at war with each other and the humans joined it, the lab I once worked for rebranded themselves as W. I. K. D, killing us and calling it the cleansing. It was a massacre that day, but it was also the perfect diversion to allow us to escape, yes us... I told them about my plan, and they knew... The whole time, "I don't know if it's a good idea," Al complained, "I mean the human world is at war right now, this is our haven right now,"

but there's another identity for me which no one knows except me. I write novels under the pen name 'phoenix' My novels are about werewolves attacking humans. Since I don't like werewolves I started writing about them in a bad way to vent out my anger on them. Recently, I've been working on a book named, 'Desire for thirst' in which werewolves attack their prey when they are in rut. My work in this genre has been gaining more exposure because I've made it very clear that I don't like werewolves. I believe people can read this as a novel but in reality the author just wants to expose their readers to the monsters they see in other worlds.

I said and bowed my head in respect. "Tell me, Raven, how did the meeting with Damien go?" Fenrir asked, his eyes narrowed as his gaze swept pass me . His voice was firm, cold and lacked any sign of emotion. I took a deep breath, cooking up a tale of a wild wolf attack on my way back from Damien's territory. "I was attacked by a pack of wild wolves, Alpha Fenrir," I began, trying to sound as honest as possible . "They attacked me without warning, and I had to fight for my life. I managed to escape, but not without injuries. It came as a shock, hence I could not see their faces and report them for proper action to be taken against them.”

said Zayder and Lucifer laughed. Luficer received a slap from Zayder and the war began. Some soldiers (humans) fought with horses and some were werewolves. In no time the battlefield was filled with corpses and blood. The Alphas left the battlefield to the mountains. They changed their forms to human forms. They fought with swords. You swear that the Grey whites were winning this battle and indeed. Tonight since it was full moon and the curse was lifted, The Grey whites fought like possessed men. It was still Lucas and Alex, you could sense the atmosphere that Alex was winning until . He was stabbed at the back.

I told myself over and over again until my heart rate slowly returned to normal and she could no longer hear the wind blowing outside. I returned my gaze to the book I was reading. It was the historical account of the war that happened a hundred years ago. Before the world, as everyone knew it, ended. In 2100, the third largest war in human history took place. But that is not between two countries or groups of countries. It was between vampires and werewolves. That was right, vampires and werewolves.

She told herself that again and again until her breathing slowly came back to normal and she could no longer hear the rustling of the wind outside. Rie turned her gaze back to the book she’s reading. It was the historic account of the war that happened a hundred years ago. Before the world, as everyone had known it, ended. In the year 2025, the third biggest war in the history of mankind happened. But it wasn’t between two countries or group of countries. It was between vampires and werewolves. That’s right, vampires and werewolves. When nobody believed in such beings, they suddenly appeared and changed the course of history. That was followed by the appearance of witches, wizards, even fair

I knocked aside their hands and bolted into Belgard. The first horror that greeted me was graffiti scrawled across the 10,000-dollar wine barrels: *Jacques Mightiest*. Every glass I had commissioned at great expense from master artisans bore a tacky tag that read, *Art, by Jacques.* The drawing room, once lined with refined paintings by masters spanning centuries, had been stripped. The canvases lay heaped in a corner as though set out for a yard sale. In their place, an ugly canvas reading "Jacques and the Jax-Minnies" hung at the center of the wall.

Ide heard lots of horror stories about hitchhiking and people being killed and so on but for some reason I felt like nothing mattered anymore, if someone were to take my life, maybe I would be better off dead than alive anyway. The war had broken out all over England, some towns still intact while other like London, up in flames. People were either locking themselves at home pretending nothing was happening while other going stir crazy in their homes, riots filled streets and police and ambulance sirens filled the air. I managed to listen to snippets on the radio when in people's cars, learning that this was just the begging, people were robbing and breaking into shops, vandalising propertie
