War Fiction Books Novels & Stories

Zeke kisses me like he’s trying to steal the very last piece of me before the chaotic, demanding world snatches us back entirely. Warriors move with purpose everywhere around us, the metallic clang of armor mixing with the low murmurs of command. The entire pack perimeter is humming like an agitated hive just moments before a swarm, perched on the brink of an existential war. It feels ridiculous, really, to be kissing in the dead center of all this intense military movement…and yet, somehow, it feels perfect, like the last sense of normalcy with everything absurd going on.

but there's another identity for me which no one knows except me. I write novels under the pen name 'phoenix' My novels are about werewolves attacking humans. Since I don't like werewolves I started writing about them in a bad way to vent out my anger on them. Recently, I've been working on a book named, 'Desire for thirst' in which werewolves attack their prey when they are in rut. My work in this genre has been gaining more exposure because I've made it very clear that I don't like werewolves. I believe people can read this as a novel but in reality the author just wants to expose their readers to the monsters they see in other worlds.

I told myself over and over again until my heart rate slowly returned to normal and she could no longer hear the wind blowing outside. I returned my gaze to the book I was reading. It was the historical account of the war that happened a hundred years ago. Before the world, as everyone knew it, ended. In 2100, the third largest war in human history took place. But that is not between two countries or groups of countries. It was between vampires and werewolves. That was right, vampires and werewolves.

We have phones for that. My thoughts whirl. Nothing in these books has given me any sort of idea of how I could end this war without being shipped off like a prized pig. Most of it includes accounts of some of the worst battles; ones where too many lives were lost. I’m surprised both Shifters and Wyres have survived any of it.

A distant memory of X teaching me of divine weapons came to mind. “The weapons that are attuned to gods, or primordials, capable of incredible feats, like the spear of Ra, used to keep Apophis, the dweller of the void away, or Zurvan's hammer, the one that legends say was used to mend the expanse of space and time, after the Schism, when gods separated and built their different pantheons. It was said that Zurvan used his hammer to re-forge the space-time continuum, returning it to it’s original state. A weapon capable of breaking and reshaping reality itself.” Wait, that’s it?

I love all different kinds of music, so there’s a little something for everyone. 3. I write all different kinds of books. If you’re interested, you can find my other books on these platforms: a. GoodNovel: Trio of Mates Series: 4 werewolf books that take on the idea of what would happen if one of the leadership was gay and couldn’t produce an heir. Lots of very graphic smut. (completed)

Several soldiers who had overheard their conversation immediately began whispering among themselves, clearly interested. “Hey, how long has it been since they last dueled?” “I want to see this.” “Steven’s definitely going to lose this time.” “I agree. Zach’s got the advantage. Otherwise, why wouldn’t Steven accept his challenge?” One soldier commented excitedly, “Whoa, this is going to be the most interesting duel ever.” “Huh? What’s so interesting about it? They duel all the time.” The soldier shot his friend a disdainful look. “Hey, you really don’t get it, do you? They’ve both been promoted to War Commanders. If they duel now, it’ll be their first duel since receiving those titles. Isn’t
