"She's one of us. Your mate is Shadow Warrior." The words sink in slowly. Before I've fully grasped what Axel said, Marinah sucks in air and screams as her body bursts apart and a Warrior replaces it. "Tighten the straps," Axel yells. We both begin tightening them. It was three other past regent witches she conjured up with necromancy, I could sense their strong magical presence. They all stared at me with bloody intentions of my doom. “Come on Ymir, do you really think that I would be intimidated by these– these parlor tricks?” I say with amusement. “I am the Primordial hybrid! I cannot be killed!!! I am the thing that makes lesser men quiver in fear.”

But Stacy blocked my path, stepping forward and getting uncomfortably close, her eyes burning with intensity. Before I could react, Stacy's grip tightened, and her friends closed in, trapping me from all sides. "She wants to make all the boys like her. Beta Zach, Alpha Marcus, Alpha Ares, and then every fucking man in this pack," Stacy continued, her voice laced with disgust.
