My Second Mate Is Alpha King

My Second Mate Is Alpha King

Without another word, he bolted toward the sound of the scream, disappearing into the burning ruins. I inhaled deeply, forcing my focus back to the battle. My claws had already formed, the familiar sting of power settling into my limbs. Every muscle in my body was primed for the fight. Then I saw them. A group of Forsaken warriors stalked through the smoke, their blackened armor blending with the shadows, their inhuman eyes glowing with eerie malice. One of them spotted me and grinned, baring jagged fangs. He was massive, taller than any werewolf I had ever seen, his presence radiating power.

MOONBOUND SECRETS

MOONBOUND SECRETS

Ryland orders, shifting back to human form. You nod, the dagger’s weight a comforting presence. The pack gathers at the ridge’s edge, their eyes wide with fear. “This is it,” you say, your voice steady. “We fight for our future. For our children. For each other.” The pack howls, their voices merging into a unified roar. --- The fortress gates creak open, revealing a horde of rogues and elders. At their helm stands Elder Marus, his eyes glowing with malice. “You’re too late,” he sneers. “The shadow has risen.”

Contracted to the Uncrowned King

Contracted to the Uncrowned King

Hopping the answer would be yes, I flipped to the introduction, the much-needed hope fluttering in my chest as I read. “From their temple origins to their violent renaissance in the Bloody War that birthed Henosis, Crowns of Shame have a complex past mixed with hope and cruelty alike. Despite its variety of intents and shapes, one thing remains the same throughout its history: the scar-tissue that defines it.” I flipped through the book, deterred by the word “scar-tissue”. I stopped at a page with a grotesque image of a man on his knees as someone carved a line across his forehead.

From Grave to Glory

From Grave to Glory

Impatiently, he said, "You rifled the closet? How dare you, Wisteria! I told you, Yvonne's stuff is off-limits! Change out of that gown and get back in the kitchen! You're an eyesore!" I scanned the fence-sitters. The ones who spewed nonsense. Then, I stared at Jackie. So I wasn't even worth being recognized by him. I was nothing but a mad housekeeper he could insult at his fancy. One of his old projects caught on fire and killed dozens of people. The army of the bereaved surrounded his company 24/7, demanding blood for blood. I used my family's power to keep the crisis at bay and even suffered a knife wound that was meant for him.

Shattered Vows: A Second Chance at Revenge

Shattered Vows: A Second Chance at Revenge

Richard had resources I could not even imagine. "He has people everywhere," I whispered. "Then you just became a very dangerous person to be seen with." Marcus walked to the door, opened it. "Leave. Now." "Wait—" "I will look into ChemCore. If you are right, we will talk again. If you are wrong, do not contact me again." His voice was dismissive. "And Miss Chen? Whatever war you are fighting with Richard Ashford, make sure you are prepared to lose. Men like him do not forgive betrayal."

What Survived The Burn

What Survived The Burn

“Smart. Hide it in habit. That’s how they trained young minds.” “Any major standouts?” I asked. Andy nodded, a little too fast. “The history section.” I raised an eyebrow. “Yeah?” “It’s not just world history. I found timelines on werewolf wars, vampire treaties, coven migrations, hybrid purges… and something that looks like pantheon lore. Like, actual accounts of god and goddess activity.” My lips parted. “Say that again?” He pulled a thin volume off the top of a growing pile and handed it to me. The title was in an old dialect—one I could read only because of the Goddess blood thrumming in my veins. Divine Imprints: The Last Age Before Silence.

Dear Ex Mate, You're Mine to Ruin

Dear Ex Mate, You're Mine to Ruin

I squeezed my eyes shut, my fists clenching so hard my knuckles popped. I began to tally the enemies gathering in the dark, wondering just how many different targets I could possibly be fighting against all at once. There was Aaron’s impossible corporate rise, the anonymous wolves tracking my car, and the mysterious omen of the black star. I was fighting a war against ghosts, and it was driving my inner wolf completely insane with rage.

Claimed by the Apex Alphas

Chapter 37: The Night Before Battle The camp settled into a restless quiet as the fire burned low. I sat apart from the others, the leather-bound book open in my lap. The names of the Primordials stared up at me, each one a life, a story, a sacrifice. I traced my finger along the faded ink, feeling the weight of their legacy pressing against my chest. The amber-eyed wolf approached, his steps heavy on the soft earth. He stopped at the edge of the firelight, his amber eyes fixed on me.

The Gladiator Wolf King - Book 3

The Gladiator Wolf King - Book 3

KELLEN More of Vargr’s army had turned up and we were now engaged in a full-on battle. Metal clanked, and growls were heard as some of the opposition began to shift, their wolves attacking my Gladiators who could not shift. “We’re outnumbered!” I heard Jasper call to me from my left.

There is too much to write about this story to write a review in 300 characters. I highly recommend this book, but start with the Delta’s Daughter if you haven’t already started there. Stout had me on a roller coaster of feelings with this one. I can’t wait to read the next one!

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.
