Brown is rubbing my hands, her expression grim, “It’ll be fine. You’ll be okay. Just give it some time. Breathe.” As I stare at her through half-masted eyes, my breathing shallow, it occurs to me, a vague thought, really, that she has always been kind to me. I’ve never had anyone aside from my father care about me like this. My chest tightens with suppressed emotion. Dr. Brown isn’t able to hide the worry and fierce determination in her eyes as she keeps rubbing my cold hands – my hands which are dirty. She doesn’t care. I let out a shaky breath and close my eyes.

His eyes got redder by the minute as he watched the video of what just happened in the wedding hall to his wife. How her mother and friend maltreated her.. Everyone in the room could feel temperature in the room drop to zero degrees. The guards most especially were shaking in fear. They knew how quick to anger their boss is.

“Make it ten.” Nick hurried as best he could in his dense body to find his love. His mind worked overtime to imagine the various scenario of greetings that awaited him. Would she be cold and cordial? Would she be angry and hateful? Could he dare hope that she would be warm and receptive?

A weird kind of feeling entered my body making me heated all of a sudden. Was it 2 years of his absence or my longing I don't know but still amidst this coldness I felt his warm feeling engulf me. "You can step back Daniel.." Was all he said. And the blonde stepped back , to give clear view of his beautiful hazel eyes looking at me with hate. I tried to get up ..to move but I couldn't I was truly helpless and trapped Lying at the mercy of my mate.

I uttered towards my friends, but they just smiled. “We will help you, Alpha. Don't worry because we will ask some help with Sofia's friends. You shouldn't be terrified with your half-brother because he can't stop you when you're desperate to take your wife from him.” Hunter uttered and that made me to feel at ease. It feels like, hope emerged within me. Hunter is right. Blaze cannot stop me from my desire to come nears my wife. I already regretted what I did from the past, but this is my time to start moving with my plans. No one can stop me about my plans and the regrets I felt would be enough. I must move to do my plan.

My heart slammed against my ribs like a trapped creature desperate to break free. And with every inch I closed between us, the warmth grew stronger — rolling through me in waves, spreading from my chest to my thighs. Every footfall felt heavier than the one before it. The atmosphere pressed down on me, thick with heat and hunger, urging me to turn back before I completely unraveled— before I crossed a line I couldn’t retreat from. But I kept moving. Closer. Closer. The soft glow leaking from his door lit the floor in a thin, warm line.

I call for an ambulance and try to explain what's happening, but my words come out in a jumbled mess. As I stood there, staring at Raina's lifeless body, I felt a sudden warmth radiating from the girl's body. It was a strange sensation that I couldn't quite place. At first, it was barely noticeable, but it quickly grew stronger until it felt as though I was standing next to a blazing fire. The heat was so intense that it began to make me feel uncomfortable. I took a step back, but the heat only seemed to increase. It was like nothing I had ever felt before, and I found herself at a loss for what to do.

Warmth. That was the first thing I felt when I surfaced from the darkness—pure, searing warmth coursing through every inch of me. It wasn’t fire, not the wild, burning kind that devoured, but something ancient and commanding, like the steady pulse of the moon herself. My body trembled as I opened my eyes to a soft silver glow hovering over me, filling the healer’s chamber with light that shimmered against the walls like liquid starlight.

he murmured. His every word came true like prophecy being fulfilled. The physical sensation was impossible to deny or ignore. It was too delightful to try. “The warmth emanates further up and down and out, expanding from its core. It flares in the center of your forehead just between your eyes and crowns at the top of your head. It flows down through your torso, tendrils curling out through your arms and legs until the warmth reaches the tips of your fingers and toes. You're consumed by warm, radiant light, and there is no room for pain or fear or resistance. Do you understand?”
