Warrior Cat Apprentice Ceremony Novels & Stories

He observed her carefully, his arms folded behind his back like a commander. “Well done, Lyra,” he remarked. Applause erupted in the hall, as wolves burst into cheers. “Now, this is the final test,” Kael said. Three hefty wolves carried in a pot of burning charcoal. Setting it on the stage before Kael. The final challenge was loyalty—a ritual that bounds the new recruit to the pack by a sacred oath. “Shadows!” General Thorne called out, loud and sharp. At his command, all members of the Shadow warriors rose up on their feet.

But enough to make me wonder what she saw. Councilman Darion spoke next. “Let the wolves run. Let instincts guide them. And let them return with proof of their strength.” Applause followed. Loud and firm. The ceremony concluded, and the groups began to move out. The forest was already prepared. Cleared and monitored with a perimeter guard to keep things contained and safe. Not that anything would be able to stop dozens of territorial alphas in their element. As we made our way out of the war tent and toward the training fields that served as a launch site, I paused near the edge of the gathering.

The sound of the horns were heard and everyone paved way for the Alpha Sam and some of the pack warriors, who were right behind him. When Celine looked up, she saw the long whip that was in the hands of one of the pack warriors and she shivered a bit, rethinking through her decision. Sam was covered in a wolf mask and he only wore short pants, while his entire body was painted. "Today, everyone of you shall witness the birth of a true queen. This custom has been in existence for a long time and would continue to go on till time cease to exist." Lord Fallon indicated, while the whip was handed over to Sam.

He took it and put it on and the crowd erupted in cheers. "I had this ordered the last time we were in Nash and thought we would be here for a few days," he told her quietly. She gave a knowing smile. Then he continued, "You have also earned your second rite of passage as an apprentice, though again we have not had the time to present it to you until now," he paused briefly, "Kneel," whispered to her, "Accept your sword," he said as he handed her the hilt of a blade that had also been specially made for her. "Use it wisely. Always be careful of the lives you take or leave," he seemed to look further into her than she would have liked when he said that. It was a short sword, her weapon of cho

My chest sprang with admiration and love for each of my warriors. “I will accept this offering and proceed with the ceremony by the night’s end.” My voice was confident and sure as all 11 of my top-ranking warriors placed a kiss on the back of my hand and made their leave. “That was amazing, I have never heard of anyone, present day, accepting a Barrier Oath Bond.” Nick breathed as the last of the warriors left the room. “Me either, it is one of the most sacred bonds of old that had ever been.” Damon spoke in awe.

One thing was undeniable, though. Kaden came across as deeply moving in the video. Even those who couldn't understand the language could sense his despair through his expressions and the subtitles. Seraphina held the kitten in her arms, her eyes downcast as she said, "I doubt it. We are all separate beings. No one or wolf is essential to another's life. If he chooses to give up on himself, there's nothing that can be done. No one or wolf should suffer for his sake."

She stood two steps behind Cael, silver-haired and still as a statue, watching everything with grey eyes that recorded without reacting. Nobody had introduced her yet, well, nobody needed to. Power doesn’t need an introduction, It just stands in a room and rearranges it. The ceremony was ancient and formal and longer than I expected. Wolf officiants spoke in the old tongue. Human elders responded in kind. There were words about unity and balance and the dawn of a new age and I stood through all of it with my spine straight and my face composed and my mind quietly cataloguing every wolf noble's face in the crowd.

The crowd, like the alpha and his mate, were on cloud nine. The rest of the official part of the ceremony went smoothly without any hitches. After the necessary ceremonials had been performed by the council, it was the turn of each elder and beta to pledge their loyalty to Troy by kissing the back of his hand. Next, the various heads which included the heads of the warriors, sentinels, hunters, assassins, medics, scouts, pup watchers, and the omegas, also pledged their support and vowed to protect their alpha’s mate with their lives.

He smiled also saying what Greg had told me, should I have turned down the offer as everyone expected me to accept, and I did? “But I’m not yet Luna am I Mr Alpha, in all intents and purposes, I’m still a member of The Blood Moon Pack, I’m simply visiting here.” I say with a smirk on my face as I watched his once smiled filled gaze turned deadly. “A visitor which will now never leave, you would be the Luna right this second if you would allow me to do to the sacred ceremony between us and when the Luna ceremony concludes the next morning, you will officially be The Dark Warrior Packs Luna.” He snarls taking a dangerous step closer to me, by sacred ceremony, he means we would need to fully co

For whatever reason, this part of the walk home was always peaceful no matter what was happening in town or on top of the hill. As we walked up the drive, past the iron gates inlaid with golden trees, the brick facade of our expansive packhouse came into view. Omegas hurried about, making preparations for tonight’s ceremony, the ceremony where I would be made Alpha-in-Waiting and officially begin training to take over pack leadership.
