Submission is Not My Style

Submission is Not My Style

Then, out of nowhere, I ask, “What’s your name?” He hesitates. “Fury.” I pause. “Fury?” He nods, looking almost sheepish. The stab wound I gave him is already healing—too fast for a normal warrior wolf. A memory flickers in my mind—back when I thought I was dreaming, I had heard that name. Fury. I scoff. “What kind of name is that?” He lets out a small laugh, rubbing the back of his neck. “I’m an orphan,” he admits. “Didn’t have a family, so the pack named me. Because of my strength.” His expression darkens, and for a moment, I see the pain he tries to hide.

Hook, line and sinker. I wanted to read just a paragraph and and next thing I find myself nose deep into this amazing and mysterious book. The way the author made the main character a defiant woman just tickles me in all the right places and I'm loving every chapter of it!

My Alpha Stepbrothers

My Alpha Stepbrothers

“You are cute but fierce, I heard you almost killed three of our pack warriors” “I did not almost kill them, I just gave them a little cut” He gave me the 'are you serious' look and I smiled sheepishly “but they are alive, aren't they?” “So you accept the name” “What name” “Wild cat” “Don’t you dare call me that” “I don’t know your real name, so I will stick to wildcat” he winked at me. “You know my name, it’s A….” He suddenly switched on the music, it was really loud as it blared from the speakers making my voice barely audible.

The warrior Luna

The warrior Luna

LAUREN'S POV “Fine, Lauren, you win!” The teen warrior who was older than me cried, “Seriously, why are you so strong? You are only 7!” “No. You are too weak. A good warrior in my father’s pack should be as strong as I am.” I knew what I said was not exactly true. He was full of potential and expected to be the strongest warrior in the future. It was a serious battle which is normal among wolves. “Another victory isn’t it, my little cupcake? Congratulations!”

Perfect Soulmates

Perfect Soulmates

Among other things I can do, I think these are the most useful in this war. - Thank you, Logan. I would also like you to be by my side in battle. - With all my pride, my king. - Alexia, the quietest of all and, according to Blue Ivie, the youngest and most powerful. What's your wolf's name? - Rainbow. - she says, laughing. - Obvious. Stupid question. You are a super warrior. I watched your training, and I imagine what I saw was the version of training with friends. I don't even want to imagine what your enemies will face. You'll be up front with me.

Moon's Betrayal

Moon's Betrayal

“Odd name, but I’ll bite. I’ll get one next time.” He held his out to me, and I took a drink. I could almost taste the lingering of his lips on the cup. “That’s not as good as the Blood Moon, but it’s certainly a favorite taste of mine. It’s called Warrior. Not as flashy of a name, but it tastes good.” Doll. Kai. Handsome. Blood Moon. Warrior. Just like that, the illusion shattered.

THE BETA AND I

THE BETA AND I

Maddox puffed his chest and crossed his arms against it. “Show us you are worthy to become one of us, Catherine.” He said proudly, and I wanted to roll my eyes, but I kept my expression stoic as I met the warrior’s gaze in front of me. “Luna Catherine…” The warrior nodded his head and was about to position himself when I spoke, making him snap his head in my direction again. “My name is Catherine Montrell,” I emphasized my last name. “Call me, Lady Montrell, warrior.” He swallowed before a genuine smile tugged on his mouth, but it was gone in seconds. The fierceness in his eyes was gone as well, replaced by respect and fascination, giving me hope that he would not aim for the kill.

To Avenge My Ex, I Married A Tycoon

To Avenge My Ex, I Married A Tycoon

She had a few imported big orange cats such as Garfield, Sunset, and Scorchy, as well as a few large domestic orange cats. Hilda held the wine glass elegantly and replied "Cat? I have a big orange cat. It was there just now, but I don't know where it is now." Big orange cat? How lame! Of course, Sahara didn't let her off the hook. "Well then, why don't you bring your big orange cat over and let me have a look!" Hilda was in a quandary. "No thanks. My orange cat is not worth looking at at all. It's just a common and ordinary orange cat."

Hunters: The Prequel

Hunters: The Prequel

They could tell that Vital Orange’s aura had gotten far more ferocious, but they couldn’t see past that. “If he’s able to control the power of a Tiger fully, he would grow much stronger,” Ivor smiled and said to himself. The names that Oracles gave to fighters weren’t baseless. The fighting style one grew accustomed to, was the seed that would grow into one’s aura. Cheetahs were called Cheetahs because their auras were shaped into the aura of a Cheetah once they reached the peak of their power. The same went for Snakes, Mongooses, Tigers, and the rarer fighters like Lions, Falcons and Eagles. The only predators who didn’t have their auras shaped like that of an animal were Predators with unc

I hope that’s not the end end. So many left off pieces of the story all his friends on the other world, all the other gods story lines, he’s only used his blood born weapons and armour twice. Hasn’t even made it out of dreamscape yet. Still have everything in true verse going on while he “asleep”

Enemy mate: the Moon Goddess plan

Enemy mate: the Moon Goddess plan

She says, looking at the big Omega. "She saw him too." I say to Leo. "Of course she has! She is a warrior like us." He says with pride. I look into the big boy's eyes and I think he's going to faint. "What's your name?" I ask softly. "Uh. Oscar, Alpha Elliot." He says as he looks down. "You're an Omega?" "Yes, Alpha Elliot. " "You want to be a warrior? You've got the physique for it." I see his eyes shining with excitement and then fade away just as quickly.

Frequently Asked Questions

In the original series, a prefix is really part of your cat's history or environment. 'Bramble-' suggests a thicket where they were born, 'Heather-' for the moors. That's the first layer. Then, the suffix is what they earned. A -'claw' could be a hunter, a -'pelt' just means they're good at camouflage, nothing flashy. I think people get caught up on making it sound cool and forget that in the clans, names are functional. My favorite from the books is probably 'Whitestorm'. It's simple—white pelt, but with the force of a storm in battle. It doesn't need to be overly complex to tell you exactly who he is.

I always lean towards suffixes like -'heart' or -'foot' for cats whose greatest strength is loyalty or endurance, not just fighting. 'Longtail' is a great example; his name literally describes him, and his skill was his keen sight and patience. It's not about being the fiercest, it's about what you contribute to the clan. I'd avoid made-up suffixes that aren't in the books, like -'blade' or -'fang'; it breaks the internal logic for me. Stick to what feels found in the forest.
