The fall of the Winter Moon pack angered Agnar and that's when he began making moves to take the throne. He now was Alpha to the largest known pack. He began taking in warriors from the packs that did not have Alpha’s any longer. He ensured they pledged loyalty and if there was the slightest bit of questioning it he killed them. There was no room in this world for weakness and uncertainty. He wandered over the river bank, he had always found water relaxing and calming. A guard managed to land a hit, his blade grazing Wrath's arm, but the spirit barely flinched. "You'll have to do better than that," Wrath growled, grabbing the guard by the throat and slamming him into the ground. Within moments, the battlefield fell silent. The guards lay scattered, their weapons broken and their bodies motionless. Pride adjusted his cloak, stepping over the carnage without a second glance. "Humans," he said disdainfully. "Always so eager to die for rules they barely understand." Wrath kicked a broken sword aside, his smirk fading. "That took longer than it should have."

Her footsteps echoed in the silence. Orion stood frozen for a moment, staring at the spot where Adrienne had been standing. Then his gaze traveled to where she now stood, back straight, chin up, looking every inch a soldier despite her small stature. His jaw clenched again. But he turned to face the assembled knights. He looked exactly like what he was in that moment, the most renowned knight in five kingdoms. A warrior who'd never lost a battle. A commander who inspired absolute loyalty and absolute fear in equal measure.

Now my head is held high in determination, mirroring my wolf. "I am so proud of you Raven. If he ran right now, he would have definitely lost the battle showing weakness and if he acted on it then he would have eaten his words. "Can I wash these outside? " she asked as if she hadn't attacked full throttle. All along, she knew that he was going to reject her sexually and had therefore prepared a quick comeback. What was this feeling that was whirling up inside of him? He was meant to be angry and unforgiving but no, the corners of his mouth were twitching and his heart was beaming with pride. The temptation to pull her into his arms and reward her was so strong but it was way too early to throw in the towel. He still had a lot of fight in him and he was intrigued.

Well, at least he did not sound like a whore. He took a look around him. Yes, he deserved this, he thought, but he wasn’t going down like a weak damsel in distress. There was a difference between the talent and skill of every warrior, but all of them had their pride and hearts as a warrior. The two sides were not related, so very few of them could do what Hamish was doing. It was as if he was completely devaluing himself. He was willing to act as a servant to someone else. A person like that would definitely not be able to accomplish anything big. He would only be able to act like a dog and loyally stay with someone stronger. That was an incredibly shameless way to live as a warrior.
