*Jaedon’s POV* “You’re saying war?” My best friend and Beta, Peter Normandy raised his eyebrows at me. Peter and I had met when we were children. Our pack, Snow Creek, had taken over his own pack Everforest. Now, the remaining joined us and pledged their loyalty. It hasn’t been a terrible thing for them though. We didn’t have to kill anyone. Their Alpha had been sick and the sickness was spreading. He asked us to take over the healthy of their pack so it wouldn’t have to die off. Our Alpha at the time obliged.

The last warrior drops to the ground just as Jefferson and my warriors get to the small clearing. Morpheus shifts, and I face them. “We have 13 young pups here, both male and female. They need to be taken back to the packhouse, treated by the healer, and then fed.” “Yes, Alpha.”

Taking a deep breath, he wondered why he could not detect the presence of a werecat. “It’s a blocker and shampoo, ” the postal worker admitted, seeing Wyatt’s confusion. “I’m mated to a Donskoi; I think you call them pila.” “It’s a breed of hairless dog…” Wyatt explained. “Same with Donskoi, but a cat.”

Now our warriors aren't normal size wolves they are huge muscled tanks is what I call them but all Alphas are bigger and when pissed tanks on steroids. "You have a mate?",I ask, trying to get a conversation going cause if not I'm seriously going to cry my heart out. "no luna not yet",he chuckles as Chance squeals and thrashes his arms and legs.

With precision, he began to share the security report, focusing on the able warriors within our pack. The statistics show a steady increase in our ranks, with a current count of 150 able warriors who have undergone extensive training and are equipped with advanced combat techniques. Each basket included a map of the territory, vouchers for local businesses, various resource lists, some fun little gifts that were donated from businesses in town, and a welcome packet that contained lists of perks allotted to pack members. There were separate baskets for males and females – some of the gifts were for specific genders – as well as a separate one that was geared towards warriors. That particular basket also included information th

TAWNY 4 MONTHS EARLIER For weeks we trained the Cambiador warriors. Taking a page out of MacTire’s book and splitting the warriors into five groups. Alpha, Beta, and Delta platoons. The other two platoons were named Gamma divisions. They were the warriors that would stay behind and protect the Kingdom’s capital. Then there were the new recruits, the younger werecats - the Zeta team. It was their job to act as enforcers in emergencies until they came of age or moved up to the gamma divisions.

I comment rolling my eyes, waiting for the moment the figures get close enough. "I know what I need to know" she replies smugly. "Really" I challenge stepping closer to her slowly, my eyes darkening into a dark red which she doesn't notice. "There's 146 packs around the world. Only 10 of those packs are classed as warriors.
