 RISE OF THE LAST ALPHA

RISE OF THE LAST ALPHA

Luckily for the Mountain Ghost pack, they were not yet down when Xavier and his warriors got there. Ozark and his men had already broken through the back and killed a good number of the werewolves there but the bulk of the war was still going on at the front where Xavier and his warriors had pitched. “I’ve never gone to war in my life,” Xavier whispered to Layla who was standing at his right hand side. “Me neither,” she whispered back to him. “Hopefully this would be our first of many, not our last.”

he voiced out this time. How are they going to fight four huge werewolves in their tiny builds compared to those creatures? Zane’s heart hammered in his chest. But he didn’t show his tension. “Shit!” Zeev cursed and looked at the opposite side to be ready for any sudden attack. A huge ebony-coated wolf with bloody red eyes graced under the moonlight. Zane almost gasped seeing the rogue. But more than its appearance, the almost glowing dark mark on its leg caught Zane’s eyes.

Give you the whole story. About twenty-one years ago, there was a massive civil war between the werewolf packs in the U.S. The trios—where Selene, our Moon Goddess and creator, mated three wolves together instead of the traditional two—were making a comeback after being hunted nearly to extinction. And plenty of wolves weren’t happy about that. Civil war broke out. We won. Trios were allowed to exist again.

In reply to the doctor's question, I shake my head. "What do you remember?" He asks me. I shake my head again and lie easily. "Nothing." I hope I look convincing enough. Everyone says the coming war will be triggered either by the Crimson werewolf pack or the Gurreo-Valley werewolf pack. The two werewolf packs have been on each other's necks for the longest time. Yet none of them have actually won over the other.

For me it's a good book and I like it. The author is not going back and forth and repeating conversations again and again. I just hope she doesn't stretch the story for long. Even though I will still read it haha (I did not finish my last comment because I exceeded the limit)

I’m really enjoying it so far. I like the concept and the drama with her mates all wanting a piece of her. Fl and her wolf have a pretty unique relationship which is cool. Her reasoning for wanting to escape at first feels a little weak/forced. But besides that it’s a unique and engaging read.

Project: Werewolf

A sudden pain washed over them, and suddenly heard a growl on their minds that seemed to shake and rattle their bones. That just lasted for a second, but it is enough for them to have a thought of it. They haven’t even spoken yet, when someone connected a mind link to Gamma Zayev. “Gamma Zayev, some of our warriors suddenly got unconscious at their posts. We concluded that it is after we felt some fort of great mind link by some wolf that sends a sudden pain on all of us,” said one of the warrior werewolves. “Send some mind link to the warriors near the pack house. If there are any that are not affected, send them to the areas guarded by the fainted warriors. And bring our unconscious warrio

A Love Worth Fighting For

A Love Worth Fighting For

He led them to a hidden chamber beneath the cabin, a room filled with ancient artifacts, scrolls, and tapestries, each imbued with the echoes of a forgotten past. The scrolls, written in a language lost to time, detailed the history of their kind—a history far richer, far more complex, than any of them had ever imagined. The werewolves weren’t just protectors of the realm; they were guardians of a powerful, ancient magic, a magic that had been used for both creation and destruction. The scrolls spoke of a great war, a war fought eons ago between two powerful factions of werewolves – the Lunaris, who drew their power from the moon, and the Solari, who channeled the sun’s energy. Erin couldn’t be more proud of her father. “And that ends the senseless war started by my step-brother, Nikjin Whitehound,” Vak Smallchief announced when all of his enemies were finally dead. “Today shall be remembered in our history as the day regained my honor and my status as your supreme leader, the Prime Alpha, and the Alpha King of all werewolves. Now, to honor the memory of all those we have lost in this fight and as a salute to every survivor here tonight, we shall howl seven times to the moon. It has provided us with the light we needed to see and defeat our enemies.”

Werewolf Resort

Werewolf Resort

“The werewolves had to bite or cut off the vampire teeth bites because the officials would get suspicious. Wolf bites were normal to cops, but vampire teeth are quite distinct. It became a lot of work, having to work on corpses and all that. It threatened the peace and existence of the whole town. If anyone found out about our kind, we would be burned like witches on stakes and a lot of us would not have been borne. To protect the town, the werewolves decided the resort had to go. Your ancestors were getting a lot of money from it, so were unwilling to let go. They had always been poor and here was a chance to get rich and make a name for themselves. When they became adamant, the werewolves

Alpha's Honor

Alpha's Honor

“Well, we can’t exactly send a werewolf in, can we? Your tames would sniff him out before he got through the door. We had to improvise.” “How? How did you even manage to do that?” He shifted on his feet. “Natalia, this war is bigger than you understand. The packs have been in the dark for a very long time. We…don’t have the luxury of following orderly conduct. Our allies come from all over, humans included. It’s a dirty game, but we have to play it.” “You think Hugo was safe with Marcel? Redclaw sees him as our ally too. They were both targets out there.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Honestly, I get annoyed when authors treat werewolf wars like they're just a bigger version of a bar brawl. The political side gets so interesting if you dig past the claws and fangs. Take something like Patricia Briggs' Mercy Thompson world—when the Marrok steps in during a conflict, it’s not just about who wins the fight. It reshapes the entire power map. Packs that were neutral get strong-armed into picking sides, old treaties written in blood get dug up and reinterpreted, and suddenly an alpha’s loyalty is a currency traded in secret meetings, not just on a battlefield. The alliances formed out of necessity after a war are the most fragile and fascinating ones. They’re built on debts and shared trauma, not tradition, and that tension can fuel stories for ages after the last wound heals.

I’ve seen it used as a reset button, too. A major war can wipe out a dominant pack, creating a power vacuum that lets a previously minor or ostracized group rise. That’s where you get your real underdog stories, or the opposite—a ruthless new alpha seizing control in the chaos. The rivalries that come after aren’t the clean, honorable ones from before; they’re bitter, personal, and laced with the grief of what was lost. It’s less 'my territory vs. your territory' and more 'you killed my brother, so I will dismantle your legacy.' That shift in motivation changes everything.
