Alpha's Power Bottom
A place reserved for ceremonial like this.
The warriors formed a loose circle around me as we stopped. One of them stepped forward, holding something wrapped in cloth.
My father spoke.
“Today,” he said, “you are not just our future Alpha.”
My eyes stayed on him.
“You are one of us.”
The cloth was unwrapped, revealing heated metal, and it was glowing faintly.
My jaw tightened slightly.
I knew what this was, of course, I did.
Every warrior carried it. It was the mark, the crest. A symbol of the pack that every warrior including my father, beared on their skin.
