Her bright blue eyes are the same as my own, but stand out against her black fur. ‘The crescent moon is my symbol that I am a warrior of the Goddesses own warrior army. Only her special children are given one of her warrior wolves’ Adira says with pride, I can't help smiling at her puffing her chest out. ‘So does that make me or you special?’ I ask, earning me an eye roll.

“Where did you get this?” “Tell me what the symbol means, and maybe I’ll answer your question.” Diego grinds his teeth together, sliding his hands in his pockets again. “That’s the symbol of the Sun Warriors leader from decades ago, the one who disappeared without a trace. The moon and the sun broken at the jagged edges where they meet symbolizes our divided species and her desire to eradicate our kind.” The pieces quickly fall into place. This knife, found among my mother’s possessions, belonged to the Sun Warriors leader.

“Okay. Fantastic. So now we have secret conditioned wolves, dead medics, mystery symbols, and apparently conspiracy cult branding.” “No cult,” Cameron said absently. That answer bothered me immediately. I stepped closer. “Then what is it?” For a second, he didn’t answer. Which meant the truth was worse. Finally, his gaze shifted back toward the dark symbol inside the evidence bag. And when he spoke, his voice had gone very quiet. “It’s a military designation.” “For what?” I asked. Cameron looked at me carefully. “For wolves considered no longer fully autonomous.”

she replied. "The mark helps a lot, it deepens the bond, it makes it easier to find their mate and others and if your mate symbol is well known, it helps another wolf Identify your husband," she explained, then she gasps. "The mark, where is usually placed," I questioned. "On sexual areas, like the neck, top of the breast, close to the waist," she replied. "Is your majesty going to mark you?" She asked, her eyes fully focused on me. "I don't know yet," I lied. Her face fell in disappointment as she stood up, helping me.

He shrieked facing the other side so as not to see Faricenda's open laps and shoulders. She pulled him closer to the bed. "Did you see that??" She pointed and he stepped back, one reason breathing in relief it was only her upper part opened. Just on her right shoulder was a wide mark that looked like a wolf with a horn which was a symbol of the Donner's pack, she is a Royal! "Can you see that? Can you? If she stays a little longer here and her pack's Alpha finds out, it might lead to war." The Luna said.

The warriors jumped back in shock at the sight of the familiar symbol from the ancient text on the floor. "Alpha," Russell called through the link, "we have a situation. You need to see this.

He turned a few pages and read on: In the mythological representations of many peoples, the wolf is a symbol of the leader of the military squad, and the squad itself is a wolf pack. In the plot from Monomakh's Teachings, the Polovtsy “lick themselves like Voltzi standing” Khan Bonyak on the eve of the battle with the Hungarians howls like a wolf. After making a few more notes, Conrod put the book aside and picked up another Legends and Facts of Old Times. He opened the Lycanthropy section:

Being a king, Xee was also a member of the council. Addy trailed off, "This logo circle has 6 parts and each one represents a supernatural creature. Here, see this paw with a human handprint, it's for werewolves. This union of three circles is for witches." Her finger shifted to the next one, "Can you see this arrow and bow? That's for elves. And this portal arch is for warlocks. This fangs here is for vampires and this flower bouquet is for faes." I looked at Addy in awe, "You really are pro at it, girl."

Warriors reached for weapons they had set aside for dancing. My breath caught. “What is happening?” Danger, my wolf answered at once, no hesitation now. Not memory. Not vision. Real danger. The gates exploded inward. Armored soldiers stormed through in brutal formation, shields marked with a blazing star sigil carved across the steel. The Star Pack. I knew that mark from whispered warnings and old stories. Second most powerful. Known for leaving no survivors when they made a statement. For a moment my mind refused to understand why they were here.

Until suddenly— Jaxon stopped. Every wolf behind him froze. “What is it?” Zane asked. The Beta crouched beside a tree. His expression darkened instantly. “No.” My stomach dropped. I moved forward. Then saw it. A symbol. Carved directly into the bark. Fresh. Deliberate. Three intersecting lines surrounded by a circle. Something about it made my skin crawl. “I’ve never seen that before,” one of the warriors whispered. Neither had I. But Elara had. I knew it from the look on her face.
