Stars POV- Beta Lex looked nervously at my mate as if asking for permission to speak. I wondered what was going on, that made him so nervous. "Go ahead man, you can tell me infornt of Star, she is Luna after all." Axel said to lex. "Well, you see...some of the warriors are outside wanting to come in and train early but most of them are unmated and well..Stars scent is a little strong." My eyes widened instantly, would they attack me? I wondered.

“Not as a returned mate, but as High Luna who has earned this mantle through survival, healing, and the blood we have all spilled together. I will govern my half of these lands with justice, strength, and the wisdom of both packs.” The crowd erupted in thunderous cheers. Crescent warriors slammed fists to chests while Moonstone healers raised glowing hands in salute. Leo stood proudly between us now, dressed in matching ceremonial robes, his silver-blue aura calm and steady under the full acceptance of both nations. The boy who had once hidden in shadows now stood tall, fully acknowledged as the bridge heir.

Jacob * The morning air was sharp and crisp as we gathered at the edge of Red Moon territory, a faint mist curling around the underbrush. The light of dawn filtered through the canopy of trees above us, casting long shadows on the forest floor. I stood with my six chosen warriors, each handpicked for their strength and loyalty. Leah, the leader of the scout team who had returned from Eldeg, was among them. Her knowledge of the area would be important to this mission, though I prayed we wouldn’t need to rely on it.

Maya spit these last words, and the crowd roared, some laughing, some howling with rage. Sasha said nothing. She stood there, fists clenched, her eyes darkening. “You will not disrespect our union.” Her voice was a menacing growl, though a poor imitation of an Alpha. “Don’t ever forget your place, Rogue.” The Warriors laughed. Encouraged by their support, Sasha pointed at the pair of them. “Warriors! Do not let a pair of filthy Rogues disrespect your Alpha and his TRUE Luna!” The Warriors, their anger reignited, surged forward once more. They yanked Maya over the railing, and she was lost in the crowd. All I could hear were her screams of terror.

I asked him, a bit puzzled. Usually any warriors with mates are given more leaves than the unmated one, although the unmated ones are allowed to leave the base to socialize for a day or two before returning to the base. All warriors are also not permitted to leave at the same time, leaving the base empty, the pack vulnerable and among other things.

Luna Gloria told me to come outside within five minutes to start the ceremony. When I walked outside, I saw Zack and Luna Gloria at the front and the whole pack was sitting in chairs on both sides. The aisle I was about to walk down had a row on both sides of the row of the head warriors, Axle, Roman, Nico, Leo, Tiara, Maya, Elise, Samara, Sarah, and Lavita on one side. Isabella, Cassidy, Ezekiel, Gregory, Seth, Roger, and Jerome (JT) on the other side of the aisle. The entire backyard was decorated in maroon and gold and the warriors were wearing all black.
