she said, seriously. I growled at her words as I tried to get away from the spell she casted on me. This was one of the reasons I hated Shadow Clans. They are like werewolves with the power of witches. But they only possess one tenth of witches power which only bloom when they clock a century old. Yes, they live the life of immortals because the oldest Shadower could reach a thousand years! But they are not immortals and could be killed if they are not blended before they turn into a full fledged werewolf.

The roar of the fire seemed to freeze in the air as the third army poured from the tree line. By the time you're a candidate for the warrior program, you are lethal. Training here starts early and is mandatory, so no younglings are defenseless. Our sentry warriors and trackers are the first lines of defense against attack, alerting the troops. We have a diverse community of all kinds of shifters and a few humans too. Most patrol warriors are lion or wolf shifters, as strength, speed, and stamina are needed to take on a breach from the Shadow clan. They are relentless as the only clan who doesn't want peace and cooperation.

Smokepaw listened to the story with keen interest. Just a few days ago there had been a terrible battle between ShadowClan and another Clan known as WindClan. Russetstar had taken an apprentice from WindClan hostage, but that had ended in miserable failure. In the end, ShadowClan was able to hold it's own in battle.

More snickers followed. I kept my chin high and walked forward, ignoring the heat rising in my cheeks. This was my chance. I wouldn’t let them break me on the very first day. Trouble across the region was spreading, so we were having to build our defences and increase our training. All our warriors were training almost non-stop, on a rota basis, the patrols increased as a a precaution, as we had a feeling it likely would not be long until The Night Shadow Pack were back. They seemed to sweep their way through the packs within the region one by one. How they had the forces to do this we had yet to decipher, but they seemed to take down the packs to the point of almost destruction, before moving onto the next pack.
