~Hunter’s Point of View~ I was enjoying my nice, quiet day off soaking in my huge tub. It had been a long week and my brothers and I rotated being on active duty and on call. I was aching for my week off. They were few and far between anymore since it seemed like everyday someone else was being a menace, being difficult. My brothers and I were Shadow Warriors, a coalition of various supernatural beings that keep the peace between each other and between our own kind. It’s a damn hard job, but someone has to do it.

He flew backward, right into a cluster of spellfire from a water mage, who grinned and gave me a salute. And then—because fate has a twisted sense of humor—Mr. Yellow popped out from beneath a broken supply cart nearby. His fur was singed. He had a shield strapped to one paw and what looked like a stolen wand in the other. “Oh sure,” he shouted, dodging a bolt of dark fire with a sarcastic hop. “No one listens to the rabbit when he says ‘maybe we shouldn’t let the hell rift open!’ but now it’s all ‘fight for the realm, Mr. Yellow!’ and ‘bite the demon on the ankle, Mr. Yellow!’”

He was fast, someone has been training them but they won't know this and would think he is just an ordinary rogue wolf and would attack without thinking or planning. Thus I really need to control him before they come, let me not use men that would help me succeed my goal. The rogue wolf was quick to heal from my attack and this time he was rushing towards me, aiming towards my heart. I couldn't let that happen, as I would be dead if his poison reached my heart. Where is my inner wolf when I need her, I need her now if I wish to suffer. ROMAN POV. "Any news yet," an excited Xylah asked, for some reason she had been confined to her room and most times she slept, with me cuddling her.

There hasn't been a rider born in half a century, and even before, there was only one that ruled Astoria. How could I destroy her now? Her being half human, and Astoria’s vow made this complicated. “Now what indeed.” I sighed out loud. The best thing I could do was keep her in sight and make sure she didn’t realize her powers. Snuff it out before she did. I had Max. He was the most knowledgeable in werewolf law. He could help me. “I want—what’s the thing's name—? “Jezebel.” “I want Jezebel to come live with me. She will stay under my clan, as my ward.”

Everyone paused, forks in midair, eyes turning my way. I met their stares, my expression serious. “Rouges.” “No way,” Fay blurted, eyes wide. “They crossed into pack territory. Not just sniffing around the border—they made it into the living area. Warriors chased them out, but they were fast and smart. We didn’t catch anyone.” I was still upset that I was at the opposite side of the pack at that moment. The table quieted. Even our dad leaned back, arms crossed. “But the real shitshow?” I added grimly. “They were in our backyard.”

“Bai Hu. The Lord of Fuxi, protector of the West.” “The white tiger.” Jin nodded. “If we are to summon one of the holy beasts, Bai Hu is our best bet. Have you made up your mind?” Jade had almost forgotten about the decision she had to make. Now that she has seen Bai Hu, the legend didn’t sound as far-fetched as she thought. Besides, she needed to get home. No matter what it takes. With her jaws set and eyes fiery with determination, she nodded. “Yes. Let’s go find Bai Hu’s stars.”

My teeth are still white, the same as the pups. Rogues are usually yellow fangs. The very few strong ones capable of destroying entire packs are blue, making them highly dangerous. But that wasn't a problem. The Nightingale pack had two blue fangs- taking it down wouldn't be a problem. "This battle is going to be intense." Frey chirped, as excitement coursed through me. Watching the warriors battle was the highlight of my day. I leaned forward, observing the rogue's movements closely. It was strong, but clumsy due to the injury on its front legs. I predicted the warriors would target its front legs to bring it down, but the rogue knew that as well, and would probably be on guard.

The warrior named Hatem heard the legend of the protector of that forest, a wolf spirit, which was not a common wolf-like another, it was a gigantic animal black as coal and eyes like silver, that wolf was called snow fang, not because of the color of his fur, that's for sure, but because with each step, he took all around him froze as if it was the cold winter but curiously the spirit will preserve the life of what was around him. It was clear that he was not like normal wolves, he had a conscience, he knew how to speak like any other human although sometimes he preferred not to do it, and he could also express feelings such as worry and fear. Snow Fang was the first guardian spirit of that

The shadow steps through. It’s not an Other. It’s a wolf. Black fur. Gold eyes. Bigger than Draven. Bigger than Wrath. It hits the courtyard and the stone cracks. Then another steps through. And another. Ten. Twenty. Fifty. All black. All gold. All Hollow. The twelve-year-old doesn’t move. “Hello, Mother,” she says again. To me. “I’m Sybil. Redfang’s vessel.” Redfang. The most violent Hollow ground. Gone for twenty years after the fire.

But then, a ShadowClan patrol, alerted by the sounds of the fight, arrived as reinforcement. The ShadowClan warriors, known for their stealth and agility, moved like wraiths through the undergrowth, flanking the Crimson Fang and cutting off their escape routes. Their attack was coordinated, not with elaborate plans or pre-arranged signals, but with an intuitive understanding born of shared experience and mutual trust. Rhys, the hotheaded Silvermoon warrior who had previously clashed with Kael, found himself fighting alongside the ShadowClan leader, their movements a ballet of deadly precision. They fought not as rivals but as equals, their combined strength turning the tide of battle.
