Was Anakin The Chosen One Novels & Stories

"They say the true queen can stand in his fire and not burn. The dragon will kneel for her." "Hush," another one whispered. I did not look at them. I looked at my own hands. Half an hour ago I had been a girl who promised to live. Now I was a girl who had no plan, no friends in this place, and a knee that was beginning to throb again under its dirty bandage. A door opened at the far end of the yard. The man who came out was small and stooped, with a long, papery face. "Tributes," he said. "I am the chamberlain of the Dragon Court. The first round of selection begins now."

"The prophecy that foretells the coming of a great leader, a leader who will unite the packs and bring peace to our world." A wave of perplexity washed over me, and I stared at Kael, puzzled. "What does this have to do with me?" I enquired. Kael's eyes wrinkled at the corners as he grinned. In his words, "You, Aria, are the chosen one," "You are the one who has been chosen to fulfil this prophecy." I stepped back, my eyes wide with dread as a wave of terror swept through me. "No," I said with a head shake. "I don't want to be a part of this."

Isaiah said. Adrian smirked, “Pretty fucking cool, right?” My head is reeling. “I guess. All the warriors and ranked members are going to get gifts?” “Yes. At the right time. Of everyone, Thalia is the most impressive. She is the chosen one, though, so I guess it’s fitting.” “Chosen one?” I asked. “Yeah,” Isaiah said. “Goes back to the war discussion we will have later.” “Why not now?” I asked.

"He was silent for only a moment about this blood bond… then he agreed." She left without another word. But it felt too easy. Too strange. I remembered Caspian waking at this same time in my past life, but we never had much contact. I chose him because he had spoken up for me once. If I had to choose an ally for this political marriage, I'd rather have someone who showed me a sliver of kindness than Damon, who would always hate me. I'd even planned my next move if he refused. But now… He agreed. I had to prepare. I would give him the best gift I could.

"Then….." "But I have to be honest with you." He held my gaze steadily. “ I'm becoming Alpha in a year and I need a Luna who can stand beside me in every sense of the word. Someone strong. Someone trained and capable. Someone who commands a room and holds her own in pack politics and leads with authority." He paused. "That is something that you clearly don't have, you are lovely but not Luna worthy ." The cold was spreading through my chest now, pushing against the warmth of the bond.

It was like the story that Hazel had told her back at the bookshop. The Chosen One didn’t make a sacrifice. She wanted revenge and these were the army she was after. The last war was not really the last after all. Now, the fate of mortality lies in her hand. She was the Chosen One, but she does not remember any of that, even though she has a feeling that she knew these people.

Brooke winks just before James pulls her in for a kiss. I sigh, only if I can swallow my pride and go to the Claiming Ball which is held once every year and on the second blood moon in the year, I may just get my mate. During a claiming ball, if you don't find your mate, you can take a chosen mate and claim her. The idea of taking a chosen doesn't sit well with me. I want my own mate, I want to see the woman that Selene fucking created just for me. Taking a chosen mate to me, is just like taking something or in this case, someone that isn't yours.

For him…’ I looked around for the source of the voice, but it didn’t take me long to realize that the voice was coming from within me. It was at that moment I felt like my soul had drained from my body. “You, Kian, are our chosen one.” I turned around with a jolt at her words. Her face was back to normal now. I rubbed my eyes, trying to get a hold of myself. “Relax, child. I know it’s a lot for you to take. But trust me, it’ll all be worth it in the end. Your life will be used for a greater purpose. After all, we have been preparing all this for you for centuries now. Don’t you feel honored that out of billions of people, you were chosen to inherit the fae lord’s soul?”

I tried my best to sound brave even though I was a shivering mess inside. Ignoring my question about their identity, one of them spoke in an airy voice, "You are the chosen one. The one who was born to protect the ruler." I furrowed my brows, not fully understanding what was going on. "What is this about?" I voiced out my confusion, hoping to get a clarification but instead, they repeated the same thing. "You are the chosen one. The one who was born to protect the ruler. Bow to the chosen one, the fairest divine."

“You’re right. I don’t know as well as I should, but can you understand that in my world, once you’ve found the one, you don’t let go?” “You said you don’t have mates, so how do you know this?” “I know, I said that, but I believe sometimes it’s just ordained, written in the stars. I never said it didn’t exist but that we can choose who we want; but I’ve also heard of people finding their mate, their soulmate.”
